At 360 g and a 28 mm tube diameter, it balances rigidity and portability. The unit packs down small, clips to a harness or pack via an attached ring, and unfolds quickly to give you the extra reach required to place or remove gear from bolts and anchors.

How does the extendable system work and feel in hand?

The Clip Sticks Aiders uses five telescoping sections and a twist-and-lock collar to set and secure length quickly. Sections telescope smoothly for fast adjustment and the 28 mm diameter improves stiffness compared with slimmer poles.
