Hockey Equipment

This is the whole hockey department in one place: ice skates from Jackson Ultima, TOUR and 5th Element, TronX and Alkali inline skates, adjustable MammyGol skates for kids who are still growing, and gear such as EALER compression jock pants and Franklin junior gloves. Around that sits what a hockey household goes through every season: Howies and SportsTape stick tape, Rollergard and Skaboots skate guards, a CCM puck bag, long-straw water bottles, plus backyard-rink basics like 6 mil rink liners, Easy Crease line markers and a LEAP coach board.

For reps between ice times, look at synthetic-ice tiles from Hockey Revolution, ACE HOCKEY and Potent Hockey, Better Hockey and ACE HOCKEY rebounders, and Snipers Edge and Hockey Revolution shooting tutors for a standard 6 by 4 ft net. Match the puck to the surface: rubber on ice and tiles, foam indoors, roller pucks or balls on pavement. For minor hockey, check that the helmet and cage carry a CSA sticker and the neck guard a BNQ logo. Start with the kids' hockey equipment checklist, then shop protective gear or training aids.
