Canadian Sporting (“we”) is operated by BARONI SUPPLIER LTD, 50 Princes Street, Ipswich, IP1 1RJ, United Kingdom. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with and your rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws, including Quebec’s Law 25.

What we collect

  • Contact details: name, shipping and billing addresses, email, phone number.
  • Order details: items bought, returned or exchanged, and payment details (processed by our payment provider; we never see your full card number).
  • Account: login details and order history if you create an account.
  • Messages: what you send us by email, including sizing information you choose to share.
  • Browsing: IP address, browser and pages viewed, collected through cookies.

Why we use it

  • To process and deliver your order, handle returns and answer your questions.
  • To send our newsletter if you have consented (you can withdraw at any time, as required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation).
  • To prevent fraud and keep the shop secure.
  • To meet legal obligations such as tax records.

Who we share it with

Shopify, which hosts the shop and processes payments; carriers; our fulfilment partner, which prepares orders; and our email and analytics providers. Each receives only what it needs. We do not sell your personal information. Some information is stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law; we use contractual safeguards with our providers.

Cookies

We use cookies needed for the shop to work (cart, checkout) and, with your consent, analytics cookies. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as required for tax purposes (generally six years). Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe. Account information is kept until you delete your account.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent and, where provincial law provides, request deletion or portability. Email canadiansporting.ca@gmail.com, which also reaches the person responsible for privacy, and we will respond within 30 days. You can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial privacy commissioner.

Children

Our shop is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
