What's the difference between a padel racquet and a pickleball paddle?

A padel racquet has a perforated face, a foam or EVA core and a wrist cord. Under International Padel Federation (FIP) rules it can be at most 45.5 cm long, 26 cm wide and 38 mm thick. Pickleball paddles have a solid face, are thinner and are used with a plastic perforated ball, so the two aren't interchangeable.

Which padel racquet suits a beginner?

Most beginners do well with a round head and a soft foam or EVA core, which give a larger, more forgiving sweet spot. The WILSON Optix V1 and Babolat Contact are made with newer players in mind, and the HEAD Extreme Evo is an oversized, lightweight teardrop aimed at beginners. Firmer diamond shapes suit players with consistent technique.

How do I adjust the grip on a padel racquet?
