Baseball & Softball

Baseball and fastpitch softball gear for players, parents and coaches: fielding gloves, Under Armour batting gloves, baseballs, bases, rebounder nets and training aids, from brands including Rawlings, Easton, Mizuno, WILSON and CHAMPRO. It covers T-ball starters right through to adult rec and competitive leagues.

Fielding gloves are sized by length and position: infield gloves run shorter for quick transfers, outfield gloves and first base mitts are longer, and softball gloves have a deeper pocket for the bigger ball. Batting gloves follow each brand's hand-size chart, with separate youth sizing. Check your league's bat rules before buying a bat, since barrel size, certification marks and wood-only rules change by age group. With a short outdoor season, a rebounder net keeps throwing and fielding reps going in the garage. Compare baseball gloves and batting gloves.

Brands include Rawlings, CHAMPRO and Easton.

In this range: baseballs, batting gloves, grips & grip tape, baseball gloves and standard bases.

Baseball & Softball: frequently asked questions

What bat is allowed in Canadian youth baseball?

It depends on your league and age group, so check your provincial or local association first. Under Baseball Canada's national championship bat rules, 13U allows a barrel up to 2 3/4 in marked 1.15 BPF or USA Baseball, while 15U and 18U nationals use wood, bamboo or wood-composite bats, with -3 BBCOR bats also permitted at those two events in 2026.

What size baseball glove should I buy?

Rawlings' chart puts T-ball gloves at 8.5 to 10 in, youth infield gloves at 10.25 to 11.5 in, adult infield gloves at 11.25 to 12 in and adult outfield gloves at 12 to 12.75 in. A glove should close easily with one hand, and one that is too big slows a young player down.

Can I use a baseball glove for softball?

It works for a casual game, but softball gloves have a longer, deeper pocket designed for the larger 11 or 12 in ball. Fastpitch players get a more secure catch with a softball-specific glove.
