The set is useful for households, outdoor enthusiasts, event organizers, and small-business applications that require many identical connectors.

How strong are these M5 2-inch carabiner clips?

Each carabiner is rated to hold up to 220 lbs in typical loading conditions, making them suitable for everyday hanging, organizing, and light rigging. They are not certified for technical climbing, rescue, or life-safety use.

• Working capacity: up to approximately 220 lbs per clip
• Material: galvanized steel provides strength and rust resistance
• Gate: spring-loaded for secure, quick connections
• Not intended for fall protection or certified mountaineering

What are the exact dimensions and gate opening of each clip?

These spring hooks follow the M5 size standard for small utility carabiners. The compact format fits common straps, small ropes, and key rings without excess bulk.

• Total length: 1.96 inches (50 mm)
• Body thickness: 0.19 inches (5 mm)
• Maximum gate opening: 0.27 inches (7 mm)
• Finish: silver galvanized coating for corrosion protection

What practical uses work best for a 100-piece pack?

A bulk quantity delivers value and consistency when you need many identical clips for projects, events, or inventory. Their small size and universal shape make them versatile across many simple tasks.

• Attach keys, badges, or small accessories to lanyards and belts
• Secure lightweight camping gear, tarps, or guy lines
• Use in crafts, product assembly, or retail displays needing many connectors
• Keep spares for events, rentals, or workshop supply cabinets

How should I maintain these clips to maximize lifespan?

Galvanized steel reduces corrosion, but simple care extends useful life. Regular inspection and cleaning prevent buildup and ensure the spring gate continues to operate reliably.

• Rinse salt or dirt off with fresh water after coastal or muddy use
• Wipe dry and lightly lubricate the gate pivot if it feels stiff
• Discard any clip with bent bodies, deformed gates, or compromised springs
• Store in a dry place to avoid long-term moisture exposure

Who is this for? The ASelected 100-pack M5 2-inch galvanized snap hooks suit homeowners, event planners, small-business owners, makers, and outdoor hobbyists who need many reliable, small connectors without paying for industrial or climbing-rated hardware. If your application is for everyday hanging, key organization, craft projects, or light outdoor tasks, this bulk set gives consistent size, decent strength, and a corrosion-resistant finish. Do not use these for climbing, load-bearing rescue, or any certified safety-critical applications.
