1st Disc Disc Golf Starter Set — 8-Piece Beginner Kit with Blue Carry Bag, 2 Putters, 2 Mid-Range, 2 Drivers

1st Disc Disc Golf Starter Set is an eight-piece kit—three disc types plus accessories—designed to get new players on the course with a lightweight carry bag.

This compact set includes two putters, two mid-range discs, two drivers, one mini marker disc and a small towel, all supplied with a blue zippered shoulder bag. Each disc is molded from durable plastic engineered for recreational play, giving beginners predictable flight and a comfortable grip. The included bag keeps discs organized and easy to transport to parks, beaches, or local courses.

What discs are included and what does each type do?

The set provides two putters for short, accurate throws; two mid-range discs for controlled approach shots; and two drivers for longer distance attempts. A mini disc marks the lie and can serve as a casual token or practice target. Together these cover the basic shot types players need to learn course strategy.

• 2 Putters: stable, slow-speed control for short-range accuracy
• 2 Mid-range discs: moderate speed and glide for approach shots
• 2 Drivers: higher speed and longer distance potential for open fairways
• 1 Mini disc: convenient marker or practice aid

How durable and travel-ready are the discs and bag?

Discs are injection-molded from heavy-duty plastic intended for repeated outdoor use without easily cracking or warping. The compact shoulder bag features multiple slots to hold discs upright and a small compartment for the towel or personal items, making it practical for quick trips to the course.

• Heavy-duty plastic construction for everyday play and impact resistance
• Blue zippered carry bag with shoulder strap for hands-free transport
• Internal sections keep discs separated and protected during travel
• Small towel included for grip maintenance and quick cleanups

How will this set help a beginner improve their game?

Having multiple discs that each serve a clear role lets new players practice specific shot types without buying single discs. Repetition with the same trusted molds builds consistency in grip, release, and throwing mechanics, while the bag encourages regular practice by making discs easy to bring along.

• Beginner-friendly molds promote predictable flight behavior
• Multiple discs allow focused practice on putting, approaches, and drives
• Portable bag encourages frequent play and on-the-go sessions
• Towel helps maintain grip in damp or dusty conditions

What should I expect in terms of fit, feel, and maintenance?

Discs are sized and rimmed for recreational hands and designed to feel balanced without advanced rim profiles. Wiping discs dry and storing them in the bag away from extreme heat will keep plastics stable and preserve flight characteristics. If you always play in heavy brush, periodic inspections for nicks and dents are recommended.

• Comfortable rim profile suitable for most adult and teen hands
• Wipe clean and air-dry after wet play to maintain grip and plastic integrity
• Store discs inside the carry bag when not in use to protect shape and artwork
• Inspect for damage after rough landings; minor scuffs usually won’t affect flight

Who is this for: This 1st Disc starter set is tailored to new disc golf players, families seeking an outdoor activity, and casual athletes who want a complete, travel-ready kit without investing in specialized competition discs. It’s also a practical gift for curious players stepping up from backyard tossing to local course play.
