CMTOOL 36V 20A Golf Cart Battery Charger for EZGO TXT, Size 20A FOR EZGO, IP67 Waterproof, 7‑Stage Smart

CMTOOL 36V 20A golf cart battery charger delivers fast, weatherproof charging for EZGO TXT batteries with smart 7-stage control and built‑in safety features.

This high‑output 1250W charger is built to recharge 36‑volt golf cart battery banks quickly while protecting cells and adapting to temperature changes. Housed in an all‑aluminum IP67‑rated case, it resists dust, water and vibration—making it suitable for garage storage or outdoor use. The unit uses a D‑type Powerwise plug and an intelligent charging profile to reduce overcharging and extend battery life.

How fast will this charger restore my EZGO TXT batteries?

The CMTOOL charger supplies up to 20 amps at 36 volts, enabling substantially quicker top‑ups compared with lower‑amp models. It also includes a maximum run time limit to prevent continuous overcharging. Expect shorter downtime between rides and dependable replenishment for daily golf or utility use.

• 36V 20A output, 1250W peak power for faster recharge
• 7‑stage smart charging adapts current and voltage
• Built‑in max charge time (15 hours) prevents damage
• D‑type Powerwise plug compatible with EZGO TXT

What safety and protection features does it offer?

This charger integrates multiple circuit protections to safeguard the battery and the unit itself. It prevents reverse connection, blocks output when no battery is detected, and shuts down on temperature extremes. These protections reduce risk from short circuits, incorrect hookups and overheating.

• Overvoltage and overcurrent protection circuitry
• Reverse‑polarity and no‑battery detection cutoff
• Automatic thermal shutdown and restart on cool down
• Short‑circuit disconnection to protect internal components

How does the charger handle long‑term battery health and monitoring?

The charger moves through a 7‑stage charging algorithm that includes trickle maintenance once full voltage is reached. A temperature sensor adjusts charging parameters to match ambient conditions, helping avoid under‑ or over‑charging. LED indicators provide clear status so you can confirm charge state at a glance.

• Automatic trickle mode after full charge to maintain battery level
• Temperature‑compensated voltage adjustment for optimal charging
• Three‑color LED status with five distinct conditions
• Cooling fan keeps electronics within safe operating range

Is this charger rugged enough for outdoor or workshop environments?

Yes—the enclosure is machined from aluminum for durability and thermal dissipation, and the unit carries an IP67 waterproof rating plus automotive‑grade shock resistance. That combination makes the charger suitable for garages, outdoor cartsheds and other semi‑exposed locations where moisture, dust or vibration are concerns.

• All‑aluminum body for impact resistance and heat transfer
• IP67 protection against dust ingress and temporary immersion
• Automotive‑grade shockproof design for vibration tolerance
• Integrated cooling fan for continuous operation under load

Who is this for? The CMTOOL 36V 20A charger is aimed at EZGO TXT owners, fleet managers and anyone who needs dependable, fast recharging for 36‑volt golf cart systems in real‑world conditions. It suits day‑to‑day golfers, maintenance crews and property operators who value weatherproof construction, automatic battery care, and clear charging status without constant supervision.
