AKONA Globetrotter Carry-On Dive Backpack 58L Blue, fin straps & padded regulator compartment

The AKONA Globetrotter All-in-One Carry-On Backpack is a 58‑liter travel pack designed to keep a diver's essential gear organized, protected, and carry-on friendly.

Built for divers who prefer to travel light but keep their core kit close, the Globetrotter combines a duffel-style main opening, external fin straps, and a padded lower compartment tailored to fit the AKONA Pro Regulator Bag (sold separately). Rugged 600D polyester construction, pull-tab zippers, and adjustable shoulder straps make it durable for frequent trips while keeping important items easily accessible.

How does this backpack protect my regulator and gauges while traveling?

The Globetrotter features a shaped lower compartment sized to accept the AKONA Pro Regulator Bag so your regulator, octopus, computer and gauges sit in a dedicated, padded area away from heavier items. Keeping those components separated reduces crushing and abrasion during transport.

• Lower compartment shaped for the AKONA Pro Regulator Bag (sold separately)
• Padded base to shield sensitive instruments
• Main compartment stacks other gear above the regulator space

Can it hold a full set of dive essentials and still be carry-on legal?

With 58 liters of capacity and a wide duffel-style opening, the Globetrotter lets you pack a BCD, wetsuit, mask, snorkel and neoprene accessories while keeping the bulk compact and organized. The external fin storage frees interior space so larger soft items fit more easily inside.

• 58 L main capacity for core dive kit
• Wide zipper opening for easy loading like a duffel bag
• External fin straps to maximize interior volume (fins not included)

What travel features make this bag durable and comfortable?

The shell uses rugged 600D polyester and pull-tab zippers that stand up to frequent handling, while adjustable padded shoulder straps and side grab handles provide multiple carry options in airports and boat ramps. At about 2 lb empty, it’s lightweight but built to resist scuffs and abrasion.

• 600D polyester exterior for abrasion resistance
• Adjustable padded shoulder straps and side grab handles
• Pull-tab zippers for secure and easy use with gloves

How does exterior storage and access work for small items?

The backpack includes two exterior zip pockets positioned for quick access to travel essentials like keys, wallet, or boarding documents without opening the main compartment. Compression straps help secure attached fins and reduce pack bulk while moving.

• Two exterior zip pockets for small items
• Extended compression straps for securing fins or reducing profile
• Design keeps valuables accessible during transitions
