All-Star Youth Catcher's Kit, Navy, Ages 9-12 — Helmet, Chest & Leg Guards with Adjustable Straps

All-Star® Player's Series Baseball Catching Equipment Kit is a complete, NOCSAE-standard youth catcher set that includes helmet, chest protector, leg guards and throat guard for ages 9–12.

This All-Star kit bundles the core protective pieces young catchers need to play confidently behind the plate. Built by a family-owned company with more than six decades in protective sports gear, the Player's Series balances protection, mobility and quick adjustment so kids can move freely while staying secure. The kit is offered in multiple team-ready colors and is sized specifically for 9–12-year-old players.

How does this kit keep a young catcher protected while staying mobile?

The Player's Series uses a mix of molded protective panels and lightweight padding to shield impact zones without adding bulk. The chest protector contains internal PE plates for added impact dispersion while straps and shape preserve freedom of motion. Leg guards combine double-knee protection with narrow profile shells so kids can block and move with less restriction.

• Internal PE protective plates in the chest piece for impact resistance
• Double knee protection on leg guards for coverage without excess weight
• Low-profile shell designs that prioritize agility behind the plate
• Adjustable straps to keep gear close to the body and prevent shifting

What fit and adjustment features help the gear grow with the player?

Adjustability is central to this set: the chest protector uses a four-point harness to fine-tune stability, and the leg guards have quick straps for fast on/off and snug fit. These refinements reduce slippage during play and allow coaches or parents to fit the kit quickly at practice or games. Sizing is targeted at ages 9–12 to match common youth body proportions.

• Four-point adjustable harness on the chest protector for customized fit
• Fast-adjust straps on leg guards for rapid tightening and removal
• Snug throat guard attachment to protect vulnerable areas without limiting breathing
• Designed in youth proportions for ages 9–12, matching typical growth stages

How does this kit meet safety standards and what should I expect for care?

The set meets NOCSAE-related standards for youth catching equipment, providing a recognized baseline of performance for impact situations common to the position. To preserve shape and protective qualities, wipe shells and hard plates with a damp cloth, air-dry padding, and avoid prolonged storage in direct sunlight or damp environments. Regularly check straps and fasteners for wear and replace components if they show significant degradation.

• NOCSAE-standard compliance for youth catching equipment
• Simple spot-cleaning: damp cloth for shells, air-dry padding
• Inspect straps and hardware regularly and replace when worn
• Avoid long-term storage in heat or moisture to prolong life
