AOKUNG 18" Double-Spring Solid Basketball Rim — Indoor/Outdoor, Tri-Color Net & Easy Mount

The AOKUNG 18" Double Spring Solid Rim is a heavy-duty basketball hoop designed for reliable indoor and outdoor residential play, featuring a dual-spring return system and a weather-resistant nylon net.

Built from hardened steel with separated edges and a single-action bending spring mechanism, this 18-inch rim delivers controlled give for dunk resistance and consistent rebound response. It ships with a tri-color, all-weather nylon net and four expansion anchors so you can mount it to a wall or compatible backboard with minimal tools. The construction prioritizes longevity and easy installation for home courts, driveways, garage setups, and community rec spaces.

How does the double spring mechanism affect play?

The twin-spring design cushions impact and returns the rim to position smoothly, reducing stress on the mounting surface and prolonging rim life. Players still experience a solid, predictable rim response instead of a loose or overly bouncy hoop.

• Double-spring assembly absorbs dunk forces and snap-backs.
• Separated steel edges keep the rim shape stable under load.
• Single-action bending mechanism ensures consistent spring back.

Is this rim suitable for outdoor exposure and weather?

Yes — the rim is made from solid steel and includes a heavy-duty, tri-color nylon net designed to resist moisture and UV degradation. While the hardware and rim are durable for outdoor use, periodic inspection and basic care will maximize lifespan.

• All-weather nylon net withstands rain and sun exposure.
• Powder-coated or treated steel finish protects against rust.
• Stainless-grade expansion screws included for secure mounting.

Will this rim work on my existing backboard or wall?
