attwood 24" Incandescent All-Around Frosted Globe Pole Marine Navigation Light, 2 NM Visibility, Aluminum Pole

attwood's 24-inch incandescent all-around frosted globe pole light delivers 360° visible navigation illumination rated to 2 nautical miles for safe low-light boating. This marine pole light is built to improve your vessel's visibility after dusk, in fog, or during reduced-visibility conditions. The frosted globe produces an even glow while the straight aluminum pole resists corrosion and stays lightweight for easy handling. The lamp is removable and designed for use with standard two-pin marine bases (sold separately), making it a straightforward upgrade or replacement for many small to mid-sized craft.

How does this light improve visibility at night?

The frosted globe spreads incandescent light evenly around the full 360 degrees so other boaters can see you from any approach direction. Its certified 2 nautical mile visibility range helps maintain presence on the water in typical nighttime or low-light situations without concentrated glare.

• 360° light distribution from a frosted globe for uniform sightlines
• 2 nautical mile rated visibility to increase detection distance
• Incandescent bulb profile for warm, consistent output

Will this fit my boat's existing navigation base?

The light uses a two‑pin electrical base interface, a common marine standard, and is compatible with multiple Attwood mounting bases. Some Attwood bases require removal of a locking collar; check your base model for compatibility to ensure correct installation and secure fitment.

• Two‑pin base required (sold separately)
• Compatible with Attwood models such as 910R2, 901V2, and 910T2
• Works with 2520, 911339, and 911370 when locking collar is removed

How easy is it to install, remove, and store?

The design emphasizes quick removal for shoreline storage or to protect the light when trailering. The straight 24‑inch aluminum pole is lightweight yet sturdy, and the globe assembly is straightforward to mount on a compatible two‑pin base for routine maintenance or seasonal removal.

• Removable pole and globe for compact storage
• Lightweight aluminum shaft for easy handling
• Simple two‑pin connection reduces installation time

What makes this model suitable for marine environments?

Materials and construction are selected to withstand typical marine exposure while delivering reliable light output. The aluminum pole resists corrosion better than many metals, and the globe's design protects the lamp while dispersing light effectively. Routine checks and proper winter storage will extend service life.

• Corrosion‑resistant aluminum pole for marine conditions
• Durable frosted globe to protect the lamp element
• Removable for protection during harsh weather or transport
