BELL Axle Youth Bike Helmet, Blue Tigris, One Size — 19 Vents, True Fit Dial

The Axle blends classic bicycle styling with modern safety and comfort features to suit kids and teens who ride for fun, school trips, or family outings. Built to meet the U.S. CPSC 1203 safety standard for ages 5+, the helmet is recommended for youth head sizes 54–58 cm (typically ages 8–14). It balances airflow, impact protection, and a simple fit system so riders can put it on and go.

How does the Axle keep young riders comfortable on longer rides?

Comfort is a priority with the Axle: 19 vents provide consistent airflow to reduce heat buildup, while the low-profile shell offers coverage without feeling bulky. Soft internal padding and the True Fit one-step adjuster let riders dial in a snug, stable fit in seconds.

• 19 strategically placed vents for steady ventilation
• Lightweight, low-profile shell that reduces pressure points
• Removable, washable liner pads for easy maintenance
• True Fit one-step dial for quick, repeatable adjustment

What safety features are built into this helmet?

The Axle includes Base Guard reinforcement and tapeless construction to manage impact forces while keeping the helmet lightweight. It also meets the CPSC 1203 standard for bicycle helmets, which verifies compliance with established performance tests for consumer safety.

• Base Guard protection around lower shell for added durability
• Tapeless technology reduces weak points from glued or taped foam
• High-impact reflectors improve visibility in low light
• CPSC 1203 certified for ages 5 and older

How easy is it to fit and maintain the Axle helmet?

Fitting takes just one step with the True Fit system—turn the dial and the helmet conforms to the head. Because the helmet uses tapeless construction and washable pads, upkeep is simple and durable, so the helmet stays functional across seasons.

• True Fit one-step adjustment system for consistent sizing
• Recommended fit range: 54–58 cm head circumference
• Washable liners and durable shell for low maintenance
• Integrated visor that’s fixed and needs no separate attachments

Does the Axle work for different riding situations?

Yes—the Axle is versatile enough for sidewalks, bike paths, neighborhood commutes, and casual trail rides. The built-in visor helps shield eyes from sun and light debris, while reflectors boost visibility when light is low.

• Built-in visor for sun and splash protection
• Reflective accents for evening or dawn visibility
• Low-profile styling suitable for everyday and recreational use
• Lightweight design reduces fatigue during multi-day use
