BELL Kids Bike Tire 16" x 1.75 - 2.25" White, Knobby Foldable 16-inch Tire for Youth with Durable Traction

BELL Kids Bike Tire 16" x 1.75-2.25" is a durable, knobby white youth bicycle tire built for improved traction, easy storage and long-lasting rides.

Designed specifically for children's bikes, this 16-inch tire pairs an aggressive, optimized tread pattern with a carbon steel bead so it can fold for compact storage without damage. The knobby tread gives added grip on sidewalks, park trails and playground surfaces, while the durable construction helps it tolerate rough use and repeated rides. With a maximum pressure of 35 PSI and an ETRTO of 57-305, the tire suits a wide range of 16-inch kids' rims and wheel setups.

How does the tread improve grip for young riders?

The tire uses a new, optimized tread geometry that concentrates contact where traction matters, helping small riders keep control during turns and quick stops. The raised knobs dig into looser surfaces and shed dirt to maintain bite.

• Aggressive knobby pattern for added lateral and braking traction
• Tread geometry designed to dissipate loose material and retain grip
• Balanced block spacing to work on pavement and packed trails

What makes the tire easy to store and mount?

A carbon steel bead provides enough flexibility to fold the tire without harming the bead, so you can stow a spare in a closet or mount it when needed. The tire's sizing and standard ETRTO make it straightforward to fit on commonly used 16-inch rims.

• Carbon steel bead folds for compact, damage-free storage
• Standard 16" sizing (1.75–2.25) matches many youth wheelsets
• ETRTO 57-305 ensures compatibility with typical kids' rims

How durable is this tire for everyday play and adventures?

BELL builds these kids tires with durability in mind so they withstand frequent use, curb hops and rough surfaces. The compound and construction resist wear to provide many rides before replacement is needed.

• Reinforced casing for puncture resistance in common riding conditions
• Wear-resistant tread compound to extend service life
• Engineered to keep shape and performance ride after ride

What are the pressure and fit specifications I should know?

The tire is rated to a maximum of 35 PSI; inflate within the recommended range for the rider's weight and terrain to balance comfort and rolling efficiency. Its width range fits rims that accept 1.75" to 2.25" tires.

• Size: 16" x 1.75–2.25" for common youth bicycles
• Maximum pressure: 35 PSI — adjust lower for softer ride on uneven ground
• ETRTO: 57-305 for correct rim compatibility
