BELL toddler bike helmet Pint Pink low-profile multisport fit with Smart Lock side buckle

The BELL Pint toddler helmet is a low-profile multisport helmet made for young riders, offering extended coverage, a kid-friendly Smart Lock side buckle, and compliance with CPSC and ASTM safety standards.

Designed to mirror the classic BELL multisport silhouette at a smaller scale, the Pint combines a compact look with protective coverage tailored to toddler head sizes. It’s built to fit most children with head circumferences between 48–52 cm, and the Smart Lock side buckle reduces pinching for easier daily use. Parents who want a reliable, easy-to-adjust helmet for preschool-aged cyclists or scooter users will find the Pint convenient and practical.

How does the Pint helmet fit different toddler head shapes?

The Pint offers a fit system designed for small heads and varying shapes. An adjustable retention system and internal padding help fine-tune the fit, while the recommended size range helps narrow options before trying one on.

• Recommended head circumference: 48–52 cm (measure before purchase).
• Internal pads allow small adjustments for shape and comfort.
• Low-profile shell reduces bulk while keeping extended rear coverage.
• Not all kids of the same age share the same size—always measure.

What safety standards does the Pint meet and what do they mean?

The Pint meets the U.S. CPSC 1203 standard for bicycle helmets for ages 1 and up and the ASTM F1492 standard for multi-impact skateboard helmets. Those certifications indicate the helmet has passed standardized impact and retention tests appropriate for biking and common wheeled-play activities.

• CPSC 1203: Tested for bicycle impact protection and retention performance.
• ASTM F1492: Tested for multi-impact energy absorption typical of skate and scooter falls.
• Extended head coverage design offers more protection around the temples and rear.

How does the Smart Lock side buckle help daily use?

The Smart Lock side buckle is engineered to be easy for parents and comfortable for kids. Its side placement simplifies fastening and unfastening while minimizing the chance of skin pinching under the chin strap.

• Side buckle reduces strap twisting during closure.
• Designed to be comfortable against the skin and simple to operate.
• Durable construction made for regular on/off use by caregivers.

Which activities is the Pint helmet suitable for?

The Pint is a multisport toddler helmet intended for riding bikes, scooters, and other wheeled toys where CPSC and ASTM standards apply. Its shape and certifications make it versatile for playground and neighborhood use, though it’s not tailored for specialized high-speed sports.

• Everyday bicycling and balance-bike practice.
• Scooters, skateboards, and similar low- to moderate-speed play.
• Playground use where head coverage and retention matter.
• Not intended for motorized vehicles or specialized competitive sports.

Who is this for: The BELL Pint is aimed at parents and caregivers seeking a dependable, easy-to-use helmet for toddlers and preschoolers—especially ages 3–5—who need a lightweight, low-profile option with solid coverage and simple fastening. Measure your child’s head to confirm the 48–52 cm fit range, and choose the Pint when you want a balance of comfort, daily convenience, and compliance with common U.S. safety standards.
