Black Beard Fire Starter rope — 5-Pack Weatherproof Campfire Ignition Ropes, 4.5+ hr Burn Time, Made in USA

Black Beard Fire Starter Rope is a ready-to-use, weatherproof ignition rope that lights quickly, burns for over 4.5 hours per strand, and reliably starts campfires and emergency fires.

Designed and manufactured in the USA from locally sourced materials, this five-pack of braided fire rope gives you a portable, long-lasting ignition option for camping, hiking, hunting, and emergency kits. Each rope is engineered to resist wind and water, has an indefinite shelf life, and contains 33 fireable strands to deliver multiple reliable ignitions without chemicals or unpleasant odors.

How easy is it to get a flame going?

Start by cutting off the length you need, exposing a raw end, and applying a match, lighter, or spark to ignite it. The rope lights readily and produces a steady, slow-burning flame that makes fuel placement straightforward when building a campfire.

• No special tools required—use an ordinary lighter, match, or ferro rod.
• Cut-to-length convenience: use shorter pieces for kindling, longer pieces for sustained burn.
• Odorless and non-toxic materials minimize unpleasant fumes while burning.

Will this work in wet or windy conditions?

Yes. The rope is formulated to resist moisture and keep burning even after exposure to wind or damp environments. That makes it suited to unpredictable outdoor weather and wet-ground scenarios where typical tinder fails.

• Waterproof construction tolerates splashes and humidity without losing ignition ability.
• Windproof performance holds a steady flame long enough to light larger fuel.
• Tested in harsh conditions in the Rocky Mountains for real-world reliability.

How many fires can I expect from one pack?

Each rope contains 33 individual strands designed for repeated use; the five-pack provides many ignition opportunities. Depending on how much rope you use per fire, a single rope can light 50+ fires, with each strand burning for upwards of 4.5 hours when used as intended.

• Five ropes per pack increase redundancy for extended trips or group outings.
• Long burn time per strand helps preheat kindling and sustain embers for fuel buildup.
• Flexible usage—split strands for multiple small fires or keep whole for prolonged burn.

How long will these stay usable in storage?

Black Beard Fire Starter Rope has an effectively infinite shelf life; it does not evaporate, deteriorate, or lose performance whether opened or unopened. This makes it ideal for long-term emergency preparedness and for stashing in packs, vehicles, or bug-out bags.

• No expiration date—store for years without performance loss.
• Compact, lightweight storage suits survival kits, gloveboxes, and gear pockets.
• Made and tested in the USA for consistent quality and traceability.
