Bluestone Full Lux Car Sunshade, Purple, Full-Coverage Windshield Shield — 99% UV Block

Bluestone Sunshields Full Lux (Purple) is a full-coverage car sunshade engineered to reduce interior heat and block 99% of UVA and UVB radiation while adding a vibrant purple finish.

Designed for drivers who want reliable protection without sacrificing style, the Full Lux offers edge-to-edge coverage for most windshields and uses high-performance materials to reflect sunlight and keep cabin surfaces cooler. Its purple exterior makes it easy to spot in a crowded lot, and the compact fold design stores quickly when not in use. The product focuses on sun protection and convenience rather than electrical or cooling features, so it's a simple, passive way to protect leather, plastics, and electronics from prolonged sun exposure.

How does the Full Lux lower cabin temperature?

The Full Lux reflects incoming solar energy before it reaches interior surfaces, reducing heat build-up inside the vehicle. That means less strain on your air conditioning when you start driving and a more comfortable first entry after parking outdoors.

• Reflective outer layer diverts sunlight away from the windshield
• Insulating core limits heat transfer to the dashboard and seats
• Edge-to-edge coverage reduces hotspots near the windshield frame

What level of UV protection does it provide?

This sunshield blocks 99% of UVA and UVB rays, helping to protect interior trim and reduce UV exposure inside the vehicle. While it’s not a medical device, it helps limit sun-driven fading and the breakdown of plastics and fabrics over time.

• Measured to block 99% of UVA/UVB radiation
• Protects dashboard, upholstery, and electronics from sun damage
• Reduces glare when entering the vehicle after sun exposure

How easy is it to install, fold, and store?

Installation is straightforward: place the shade against the inside of your windshield and secure it using the sun visors or included straps if provided. When you’re ready to go, the material folds compactly for storage in the glove box or trunk, and it pops back into shape for repeated use.

• Quick-placement design fits most standard windshields
• Folds small for tidy storage between uses
• Durable construction resists creasing and maintains shape

Will the purple color affect performance?

The purple finish is primarily aesthetic and does not compromise the sunshield’s reflective or insulating properties. It makes the shade visually distinctive while delivering the same UV-blocking performance as other Full Lux variants.

• Vibrant purple exterior for easy identification in parking areas
• Color-treated outer layer engineered to reflect sunlight effectively
• Stylish look without sacrificing thermal protection
