BRUCE BOLT Sliding Mitt for Baseball/Softball, Black, Size Adult — Neoprene Comfort, Kevlar Protection

BRUCE BOLT Original Series Sliding Mitt in black is a purpose-built sliding glove that blends neoprene comfort, Cabretta leather grip, and Kevlar-reinforced protection to keep your hand secure and supported on slides.

Engineered with input from pro players, this adult sliding mitt focuses on preventing abrasions and blunt impacts while preserving tactile control of the bag. The mitt uses a proprietary non-slip palm similar to receiver gloves, semi-flexible TPU plates, and reinforced Kevlar pads in high-wear zones. A 3" elastic wrist band locks the mitt in place for added stability without sacrificing mobility, and double stitching in stress areas extends the mitt's lifespan.

How does this mitt improve stability and wrist support during slides?

The integrated 3" elastic band wraps around the wrist to limit excessive movement and helps keep the mitt positioned through aggressive slides. Combined with the neoprene mitt body and ergonomic shaping, the band reduces the risk of the mitt shifting or coming off at impact.

• 3" elastic wrist band for secure fit and added support
• Neoprene construction conforms to hand shape for stability
• Ambidextrous design keeps fit consistent on either hand

What protection features prevent cuts, cleat strikes, and bag impact injuries?

Protection comes from semi-flexible TPU plates on both sides of the hand that disperse forces from collisions. Kevlar-reinforced pads cover key wear areas to resist abrasion from turf and infield surfaces, while Cabretta leather delivers a balance of supple feel and durable coverage.

• Semi-flexible TPU protective plates on each side of the hand
• Kevlar-reinforced pads in high-wear zones to resist abrasion
• Cabretta leather panels for durable, tactile coverage

Will this mitt help me maintain grip when reaching for the bag?

The proprietary non-slip palm uses a tacky surface similar to football receiver gloves to reduce sliding on contact. That enhanced grip helps keep your hand anchored on the bag at impact so you can control the play and reduce the chance of oversliding.

• Proprietary non-slip palm texture for improved contact
• Cabretta leather provides responsive feel without sacrificing durability
• Ergonomic hand shaping preserves dexterity for field maneuvers

How durable is the mitt for repeated use and practice sessions?

Durability is built into the materials and construction: double-stitched seams in all wear areas, Kevlar-reinforced pads, and premium leather panels resist tearing and premature wear. The mitt is designed to be used regularly in practices and games while retaining protective properties.

• Double reinforced stitching in all high-stress areas
• Kevlar and Cabretta leather combination for long-term wear resistance
• Neoprene mitt body maintains shape through repeated use

Who is this for? The BRUCE BOLT Original Series Sliding Mitt is intended for adult baseball and softball players who want a high-performance sliding solution that prioritizes hand protection, secure fit, and improved bag contact. It suits infielders and baserunners who seek a durable, ambidextrous mitt that performs during games and holds up through frequent practice sessions.
