Bushnell Tour V5 Shift golf rangefinder — slope-compensated distances, PinSeeker & magnetic cart mount

The Bushnell Tour V5 Shift is a tour-grade golf laser rangefinder that delivers slope-compensated "play as" distances, a magnetic cart mount, and pinseeker visual jolt for fast, reliable yardages.

Built for players who demand pro-level accuracy without sacrificing convenience, the Tour V5 Shift combines an updated slope algorithm with tournament-legal mode, a secure bite magnetic cart mount, and a refined PinSeeker system to lock onto pins quickly. Compact and rugged, it’s engineered to perform on varied terrain and to help you assess yardage to hazards, targets, and flagsticks with confidence.

How does the V5 Shift produce more accurate "play as" distances?

The V5 Shift uses an enhanced slope algorithm to calculate compensated yardages that consider elevation change between you and the target. That produces a more realistic distance to hit toward uphill or downhill shots without guessing the effect of incline or decline.

• Updated slope calculation for finer precision on varied elevations
• Displays "play as" distance reflecting incline/decline impact
• Quick readouts to speed yardage decisions on the course

Can I use this rangefinder in tournaments?

Yes — the Tour V5 Shift has an easily accessible tournament-legal mode that disables slope compensation to comply with most competition rules. Toggle the feature to meet event requirements, then switch back for slope-assisted yardages during casual rounds or practice.

• Dedicated tournament-legal setting removes slope calculation
• Intuitive mode switching so you’re ready for competition
• Maintains laser accuracy and PinSeeker function when legal mode is active

What helps the V5 Shift find the pin quickly?

PinSeeker with Visual JOLT technology reduces flag ambiguity by combining precise ranging with a brief visual confirmation to indicate a successful lock on the target. The system minimizes distraction and confirms the flagstick distance so you can commit to a club choice faster.

• PinSeeker narrows in on flagsticks even among background objects
• Visual JOLT provides a quick display cue for confirmed targeting
• Fast acquisition reduces time spent lining up shots

What convenience and mounting options does it offer?

The V5 Shift includes a BITE magnetic cart mount that secures the rangefinder to a cart rail, keeping it protected and close at hand throughout your round. Its compact, durable housing is made for repeated use and easy carrying in a pocket or bag.

• BITE magnetic mount grips cart rails for secure storage
• Compact size fits golf pockets and bag compartments
• Durable construction designed for on-course handling

Who this is for: The Bushnell Tour V5 Shift is aimed at golfers who want tour-level measurement tools — players who value precise elevation-compensated yardages during practice rounds and casual play, but also need a tournament-legal option. It suits single-digit players, competitive amateurs, caddies, and anyone who prefers a fast, reliable laser with convenient cart mounting and clear pin confirmation.

Included features: TRUE “PLAY AS” distance with enhanced slope algorithm, toggleable slope/tournament-legal mode, BITE magnetic cart mount, PinSeeker with Visual JOLT, and the reputation of Bushnell as a leading laser rangefinder brand favored on professional tours.
