CamelBak Chase Race 4 Bike Hydration Vest, Moroccan Blue 2.0, 50oz Reservoir, Lightweight Race Fit

The CamelBak Chase Race 4 Bike Hydration Vest is a lightweight, race-focused hydration pack with a 50oz reservoir and secure, breathable fit built for fast road, gravel, and endurance riding.

Designed with input from competitive riders, the Chase Race 4 balances minimal weight with purposeful storage and airflow to support high-intensity efforts. Its vest-style silhouette stays close to the body at speed, while the 3D Grid Mesh harness and dual adjustable sternum straps let you fine-tune comfort and stability. This version includes an easy-fill 50oz (1.5 L) reservoir and has pockets and organization aimed at keeping tools, phone, and race nutrition within quick reach without disturbing your cadence.

How does the Chase Race 4 stay comfortable on long, hot rides?

The vest uses a 3D Grid Mesh harness to promote continuous airflow across your torso, reducing trapped heat and sweat buildup during extended or intense efforts. Its lightweight construction trims bulk, and the close-fitting design minimizes bounce so you can maintain power without repeated adjustments.

• Breathable 3D Grid Mesh harness for improved ventilation
• Low-profile, vest-style fit to reduce movement and chafing
• Minimal-weight materials that preserve range of motion

What storage and organization does it provide for racing needs?

The Chase Race 4 focuses on quick access and smart placement: the Command Center harness stores fuel and a phone where you can reach them while riding, and an integrated tool organizer keeps repair items sorted and ready. A stretch overflow pocket offers instant room for a lightweight jacket or extra gel packets as conditions change mid-ride.

• Command Center harness for phone, nutrition, and easy access fuel
• Integrated tool organization for CO2 cartridges, multi-tools, and patches
• Stretch overflow pocket for a packable layer or additional supplies

How does the fit remain secure at race pace?

Dual adjustable sternum straps let you micro-adjust the vest to lock it in place without compressing your lungs or restricting breathing. The harness geometry and close fit are engineered to sit stable across sprints, climbs, and rough gravel sections so the pack doesn’t shift when you’re out of the saddle.

• Dual adjustable sternum straps for precise tensioning and stability
• Form-fitting vest profile to limit bounce during efforts
• Balanced weight distribution to keep the reservoir centered and steady

How easy is it to use the 50oz reservoir and maintain the vest?

The included 50oz reservoir offers sufficient hydration for long intervals without frequent refills and is designed for straightforward filling and cleaning. Quick-access pockets and clear organization make mid-ride refueling or tool retrieval fast, and the vest’s materials are rinse-friendly for routine care after muddy or sweaty outings.

• 50oz reservoir sized for long training rides and races
• Reservoir access designed for easy filling and cleaning
• Durable fabrics that rinse and dry quickly after use

Who is this for? The CamelBak Chase Race 4 is built for competitive and committed riders who prioritize speed, low weight, and instant access to hydration, tools, and fuel. It’s ideal for road racers, gravel competitors, and endurance cyclists who want a stable, breathable pack that stays out of the way while supporting sustained high-intensity efforts.
