Riding rough trails or sprinting through urban routes, a secure chain keeps momentum and focus where they belong. The CYSKY Chain Guide pairs a CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body with a low-friction plastic upper guide to protect single-ring drivetrains from chain skips and drops. At approximately 52 g and supplied with spacers and hardware, it’s intended for seat tube clamp mounting on frames using 1x systems and can adapt to a 31.8–35 mm seatpost diameter with the included shim.
The guide creates a physical barrier and alignment aid in front of the chainring to keep the chain seated during impacts and high cadence shifts. The plastic top guide glides against the chain to reduce noise and friction while the alloy mount keeps the assembly rigid under load.
Installation is straightforward and designed for home mechanics: you don’t need to remove the cranks. The unit clamps around the seat tube and is adjusted with a single 4 mm hex key, and it comes with the fixing bolts and spacers needed to fit common setups.
The CYSKY guide uses CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum for the main body, combining light weight with structural strength. A molded plastic top guide provides smooth contact with the chain, balancing durability and quiet operation for trail or street use.
The guide is built for single-ring (1x) drivetrains and clamps to seat tubes around 35 mm diameter; a shim is included to accommodate frames down to 31.8 mm. It’s suitable for mountain bikes, road bikes running a 1x setup, BMX, and fixed-gear conversions that need added chain security.
Who is this for? Riders who run single-chainring drivetrains and want a lightweight, robust solution to prevent chain drops will find the CYSKY Chain Guide a practical upgrade. It’s aimed at trail riders, commuters, and urban cyclists who need reliable retention without complex installation — a compact, CNC-machined guard that keeps the drivetrain secure and quiet. Choose the correct seatpost shim size for your frame before ordering to ensure a proper fit, add the Chain Guide to your cart, and get back to focused riding.
