Champion Sports Official Size Pitchers Plate w/Anchor, Molded Rubber All-Weather 24 x 6 in

The Champion Sports Anchor Pitcher’s Plate is a weatherproof molded rubber pitching plate with a removable in-ground metal anchor for stable, game-ready footing.

Designed to deliver reliable traction and a consistent reference point for pitchers, this Champion Sports plate combines a durable rubber strip with a heavy-duty anchor system so teams can install and remove the plate quickly. Built to resist cleat abrasion and outdoor conditions, it’s offered in two sizes to match official and youth pitching specifications.

What makes this plate hold steady during live play?

The design pairs a molded rubber plate with a removable metal in-ground anchor that locks the plate into the mound. The anchor sits concealed beneath the surface to prevent wobble and keeps the strip firmly in place through repeated pitches and foul weather.

• Removable metal anchor for secure installation and easy removal
• Weight and rubber texture that resist shifting underfoot
• Anchor recess prevents plate rocking and maintains a flat pitching surface

How does it stand up to heavy use and outdoor conditions?

Champion Sports molded rubber is formulated to tolerate abrasion from cleats and spiked footwear while resisting moisture and mud. The plate’s construction is intended for frequent practice and game schedules at schools, parks, and complexes.

• Durable molded rubber resists wear from spikes and cleats
• All-weather materials minimize damage from rain and sun exposure
• Built for repeated installations, practices, and competitive play

Which size should my team choose and what are the dimensions?

The plate comes in two sizes to fit different competition levels: the Official size for adults and the Youth size for younger players. Select the Official plate for high-school and adult leagues and the Youth plate for little-league practice and games.

• Official: 24 inches long by 6 inches wide — matches adult pitching reference needs
• Youth: 18 inches long by 4 inches wide — sized for youth mounds and development
• Choose according to league rules and mound layout for correct placement

How easy is it to install, remove, and maintain?

Installation is straightforward: set the in-ground anchor, seat the plate into the anchor pocket, and ensure it sits flush. The anchor system is removable for field maintenance or relocation, and the rubber plate cleans up easily after play.

• Anchor slips into a ground sleeve for quick setup and removal
• Rubber surface wipes clean of dirt and mud with water or a brush
• Simple removal helps with offseason storage or field repairs

Who is this for? Coaches, parks and recreation departments, baseball and softball programs, and dedicated players who need a consistent, durable pitching reference will appreciate this Champion Sports Anchor Pitcher’s Plate. It’s suited for teams that require a rugged, anchored plate that performs in practice and in competition, and for facilities that value an anchor system that’s both secure and removable for routine field care.
