CHAMPRO mens Legend Plus HX Batting Helmet, Black, White, Size Large — NOCSAE Certified, Lightweight Venting

The CHAMPRO Legend Plus HX men's batting helmet is a lightweight, NOCSAE-certified helmet built for airflow, comfort, and configurable jaw protection.

Engineered as part of CHAMPRO's HX line, the Legend Plus updates classic protection with strategic vents, an impact-absorbing inner shell, and a moisture-managing liner. The helmet balances visibility and coverage while keeping hitters cool and comfortable during long games. Its patent-pending Double Lock Design lets you install the included jaw guard on either side, and the helmet meets established NOCSAE safety standards for competitive play.

How does the Legend Plus HX improve airflow and comfort at the plate?

Strategic venting and a lightweight shell reduce trapped heat while maintaining structural integrity. Inside, a contour-molded liner pulls sweat away from the skin so batters stay drier during extended innings.

• Multiple vent holes for passive cooling and heat release
• Weight-optimized ABS shell to limit bulk without sacrificing strength
• DRI-GEAR moisture-wicking liner contours to the head
• Soft-touch jaw pads to reduce chafing and add comfort

What protection features does this helmet offer?

The Legend Plus combines an impact foam interior with a durable outer shell to manage and disperse forces. It is constructed to meet NOCSAE standards, making it suitable for youth and adult competition where certification is required.

• ABS outer shell engineered for high-impact resistance
• Impact-absorbing foam lining for energy management
• Jaw pads add protection around the lower face and chin
• NOCSAE-certified for use in sanctioned play

Can the jaw guard be moved between sides, and how is it secured?

The helmet includes a jaw guard designed with CHAMPRO's Double Lock Design so it can be mounted on either the right or left side. Mounting hardware is provided, and the guard can be firmly secured with screws for stable protection.

• Patent-pending Double Lock Design allows side-switching
• Includes screws for secure attachment on either side
• Removable option for players who prefer no guard
• Installation requires basic screw tightening—no special tools

What sizes and finish options are available for this model?

The Legend Plus is offered in two size ranges to fit a variety of players and comes in several color combinations with a matte finish. Choose the appropriate sizing to ensure correct fit and certified protection.

• Senior sizing roughly 7–7 1/2 (men's large fits within this range)
