Coleman Skyshade 8x8 ft Screened Shelter, Fog — UPF 50+ Mesh Canopy with Removable Floor

The Coleman Skyshade 8x8 Screened Shelter is a lightweight, easy-to-set-up screened canopy that provides UPF 50+ sun protection and a bug-free lounge space for beach days, picnics, and campsites.

Designed to combine quick assembly with insect protection and breathable coverage, this 8 x 8 ft Skyshade screen dome creates a comfortable, enclosed area for relaxing outdoors. Fiberglass poles, pole sleeves and corner pockets speed setup, while the included removable floor, two wide doors and mesh walls keep bugs out and gear in. At 11.4 lbs and accompanied by a carry bag, it’s portable enough to toss in the car or carry to a nearby park.

How fast and simple is the setup?

Assembly is intended to be straightforward so you can spend more time enjoying your destination and less time wrestling with fabric. The shelter uses flexible fiberglass poles that slide through sleeves and anchor into corner pockets for a secure frame.

• Fiberglass poles and sewn pole sleeves for guided installation
• Corner pockets lock poles into place for stability
• No separate staking system required for basic setup; stakes not included
• Compact carry bag stores the shelter and poles together

Will it keep bugs and sand out while letting air circulate?

The Skyshade’s full mesh walls form a protective barrier against insects while preserving ventilation and visibility. Two wide zippered doors help you move gear and people in and out without compromising the screened envelope.

• Enclosed mesh walls block insects while enabling airflow
• Two generous doors for easy entry, exit and equipment access
• Mesh fabric keeps sand and debris from spreading inside
• Visibility through mesh maintains sightlines at campsites or beaches

What comfort and protection features does it offer?

Beyond insect protection, the shelter includes a removable floor to isolate occupants from hot or damp ground and offers UPF 50+ material to reduce direct sun exposure. Interior pockets help keep small items organized and off the floor.

• Removable floor for added comfort and ground protection
• UPF 50+ fabric to help reduce sun exposure
• Two internal gear pockets for phones, keys and small items
• 6 ft. 8 in. center height for comfortable sitting and crouching

How portable and durable is the shelter for travel?

Weighing 11.4 pounds and packing into the provided carry bag, the Skyshade balances portability with a sturdy frame. Fiberglass poles offer flexibility and resilience for typical outdoor use when handled as directed.

• Total packed weight: 11.4 lbs for easy transport
• Includes a compact carry bag that fits in car trunks or gear storage
• Constructed for repeated use with fiberglass poles and reinforced corners
• Comes with a 1-year limited warranty for manufacturing coverage
