CRAFTSMAN GOLF DF3 Center-Shaft Mallet Putter Headcover - American Flag, Magnetic Closure, Padded Protection

CRAFTSMAN GOLF's USA center-shaft mallet putter headcover is a protective, easy-to-use cover built specifically for the DF3 mallet with a secure magnetic closure and patriotic flag styling.

This headcover is designed to safeguard your DF3 center-shaft mallet putter during transport and play while showing off a bold American-flag motif. It combines a durable outer shell, a soft inner lining, and a strong magnet to keep the cover closed and reduce club-on-club noise inside the bag. The fit and construction focus solely on DF3 mallet models, so it won't fit other head shapes snugly.

Will this headcover fit my DF3 center-shaft mallet putter?

Yes—this headcover is tailored for DF3 center-shaft mallet putters. The internal shape and dimensions match DF3 geometry, offering a secure hold without excess bulk. It’s not universal, so other putters may not seat correctly.

• Custom-shaped to DF3 mallet dimensions for a snug fit
• Center-shaft clearance to accommodate DF3 head placement
• Not recommended for blade putters or non-DF3 mallet models

How does the magnetic closure improve convenience on the course?

The integrated magnetic fastener gives quick one-handed access and ensures the cover snaps closed reliably after each use. The magnet is strong enough to remain sealed while walking or riding, yet easy to open deliberately. This avoids fiddly straps or zippers, speeding club changes between holes.

• Strong magnetic closure for fast on/off access
• Secure hold prevents accidental openings during transit
• One-handed operation reduces time between shots

What protective features keep my putter safe and quiet in the bag?

The headcover uses a soft, durable inner lining that cushions the clubhead and protects its finish from scratches. The outer material resists light scuffs and maintains shape, while the padded interior dampens impacts and reduces metal-on-metal sound when carrying multiple clubs. Together these elements protect both cosmetics and performance-sensitive surfaces.

• Soft inner fabric prevents surface scratches
• Padded construction reduces noise and impact transfer
• Durable outer shell resists abrasion and maintains fit

How does the American-flag design affect use or care?

The patriotic design is purely aesthetic and will not interfere with protection or fit. Care is simple: spot-clean the exterior and avoid harsh chemicals to keep colors bright. If the cover gets wet, air-dry fully before storing in a closed bag to prevent mildew and maintain the magnet’s performance.

• Flag-themed outer panel for a distinctive look on the course
• Spot-clean with mild soap and air-dry to preserve colors
• Avoid prolonged moisture exposure to protect materials

Who is this for? Golfers who own a DF3 center-shaft mallet putter and want a purpose-built protector with quick magnetic access and a patriotic aesthetic will benefit most. It suits players who value a precise fit, noise reduction inside their bag, and a durable soft-lining that preserves the putter’s finish. If you need a universal headcover or have a non-DF3 head shape, look for a different model tailored to your club.
