Crane Suzu Bicycle Bell, Brass, 5.5 cm Dome with Plated Steel Clamp Fits 22.2–26.0mm Bars

This bell combines a minimalist aesthetic with robust construction to give city riders, cruisers and mountain bikers a simple, reliable way to signal. Its solid brass dome and plated steel clamp are built for daily use, and a redesigned mounting bracket accommodates a wider range of handlebar sizes without extra adapters. At 5.5 cm across, the Suzu bell balances presence and low profile so it complements modern bike builds while providing an unmistakable acoustic signature.

How does the Suzu bell attach to different handlebars?

The Suzu uses a plated steel clamp with a spring‑loaded striker that secures the bell directly to the bar. The updated clamp spans handlebars from 22.2 mm up to 26.0 mm, reducing the need for shims or additional hardware. Installation is quick with a single fastening point, and the clamp's metal construction resists loosening under regular use.

• Fits common road, city and MTB bars (22.2–26.0 mm).
• Durable plated steel clamp and striker for long life.
• Simple single-screw mounting — minimal tools required.

What kind of sound can I expect from the brass dome?

The bell produces a bright, sustained tone thanks to the brass dome and spring striker design. The acoustic profile is tuned to be audible in urban environments without being overly loud or harsh. Because the bell is metal on metal, its pitch projects clearly and decays cleanly.

• Brass dome yields clear, resonant notes.
• Spring striker provides consistent, repeatable strikes.
• Wide 5.5 cm face for a balanced sound footprint.

Is the Suzu bell durable for everyday riding and weather exposure?

Constructed entirely from metal components, the Suzu bell is designed to withstand regular cycling conditions. The plated steel clamp and striker resist wear from repeated use, and the brass dome tolerates outdoor exposure while developing a natural patina over time. Routine checks of the mounting screw are recommended to maintain secure attachment.

• All‑metal build minimizes plastic wear points.
• Plated steel clamp resists corrosion and stress.
• Brass surface matures with use but remains functional.

How will this bell look on my bike and does it match other finishes?

The Suzu brass bell presents a warm, classic finish that pairs well with vintage and modern frames alike. Its compact diameter keeps the profile understated, while the metal clamp integrates neatly near grips or brake levers. If you prefer different tones or metal finishes, the model is also available in copper and alloy options to better match your bike's hardware.

• 5.5 cm diameter keeps a low visual profile.
• Warm brass tones complement leather and wooden grips.
• Available in copper and alloy variants for coordinating finishes.
