CROSSGEAR 16L Foldable Hiking Backpack, 16l Navy Blue, Lightweight Packable Daypack for Women & Men with RFID Pocket

The CROSSGEAR 16L Foldable Hiking Backpack is a lightweight, packable daypack with RFID protection, water-resistant fabric, and smart pockets for organized outdoor and travel use.

Designed to be an everyday carry that expands into a capable trail companion, this 16-liter pack balances low weight and durable construction. It compresses to palm size for easy stashing in luggage, features a dedicated RFID-blocking pocket for cards and passports, and uses breathable mesh straps so hours on the trail feel less demanding. Reflective accents and reinforced stitching make it practical for commuting, day hikes, and travel errands.

How does this backpack keep my essentials organized?

The CROSSGEAR daypack includes multiple purpose-driven compartments so small items don’t get lost at the bottom. Pockets are positioned for quick access while on the move and arranged to separate valuables from wet or bulky items.

• Main compartment sized for a light jacket, snacks, and a camera.
• RFID-blocking pocket sized for credit cards and passports.
• Kangaroo-style front pouch that fits a quick-dry towel or thin layer.
• Two side bottle holders plus a front stash pocket for immediate access.

Will it stand up to outdoor use and unpredictable weather?

Constructed from tear-resistant 210D nylon and fitted with robust zippers, this pack is built to tolerate frequent use without adding much weight. The fabric sheds light rain and splashes, while reinforced seams reduce wear at stress points.

• 210D nylon body for abrasion resistance and low weight.
• Premium zippers and reinforced stitching at load-bearing seams.
• Reflective strips for low-light visibility on roads and trails.
• Quick-dry materials that limit moisture retention.

How small does it pack and how comfortable is it to carry all day?

When folded the backpack shrinks to roughly palm size, making it ideal as backup luggage or a daypack when space is limited. Breathable mesh shoulder straps and an adjustable dual chest strap help distribute load and reduce bounce during activity.

• Packs down to approximately 6.7" × 5.5" × 2.76" for compact storage.
• Unfolded capacity: 16 liters (17.7" × 11" × 5.1").
• Mesh-padded shoulder straps for ventilation and comfort.
• Vertically and laterally adjustable chest strap for a secure fit.

What useful features make this a smart travel companion?

Beyond basic storage, the pack adds convenience with shoulder-strap pockets and an RFID-shielded compartment to guard personal data. The design focuses on rapid access and secure carry for travel essentials without the bulk of a full-size backpack.

• Left zippered strap pocket fits phones up to 7" for hands-free retrieval.
• Right stretch strap pocket holds a slim water bottle for quick sips.
• RFID-blocking pocket protects passport and contactless cards.
• Lightweight construction (about 0.57 lbs) keeps luggage weight down.

Who is this for? The CROSSGEAR 16L Foldable Hiking Backpack is intended for commuters, weekend travelers, minimalist hikers, and anyone who wants a compact, reliable pack for day trips. It suits those who need organized pockets, RFID protection for travel documents, and a breathable, lightweight carry solution that tucks easily into luggage, a larger pack, or a car glovebox.
