Cuetec DUO Smart Extension cue extension — 3, 6, 9 adjustable, ultra-light composite for 1st Gen Cynergy cues

The Cuetec DUO Smart Extension is a modular, all-composite cue extension that gives players three reach options — 3", 6" or a combined 9" — for improved positional access on the table.

Designed for precise reach without adding bulky weight, the DUO Smart Extension offers a pairable two-handle system that can be used as two separate pieces (3" and 6") or snapped together into a single 9" extension. Its ultra-light composite construction and quick-pin aluminum fittings keep balance predictable and make it easy to attach or remove mid-game. Built specifically for 1st Gen Cuetec Cynergy cues (1st Gen Truewood & SVB models), this extension preserves your cue’s feel while extending your stroke length for shots where standard reach falls short.

How does the DUO extension change cue reach and balance?

The DUO adds measurable length in compact, configurable increments so you can adapt reach on the fly. Because it uses lightweight composite materials and a low-mass aluminum quick-pin, it minimizes disruption to your cue’s balance while increasing reach.

• Use 3" or 6" independently for small adjustments without overextending.
• Combine into a 9" extension when full extra length is required.
• All-composite body keeps added weight low for natural swing feel.
• Aluminum 3/8 x 14 quick-pin attachment ensures secure fit and quick swaps.

What are the materials and build features that affect performance?

The DUO is constructed from composite materials engineered for strength and minimal weight. Precision-machined aluminum quick-pins provide fast, reliable coupling to the butt of compatible cues.

• All-composite ultra-light construction reduces torque and dead weight.
• Aluminum 3/8 x 14 quick-pin connectors for stable, repeatable attachment.
• Pairable two-handle design lets you detach or combine sections instantly.
• Includes a DUO-ready replacement butt cap for seamless installation.

Which cues and players is the DUO Smart Extension compatible with?

The DUO was developed specifically for first-generation Cuetec Cynergy cues — both Truewood and SVB models — so it complements those butt profiles and threading. It’s intended for players who need extra reach but want to retain the original cue’s feel.

• Compatible: 1st Gen Cuetec Cynergy cues (Truewood & SVB).
• Not intended for universal use on all cue brands or later-generation Cynergy designs.
• Ideal for players who frequently encounter long or awkward-position shots.
• Quick-pin system makes it tournament- and practice-friendly for fast changes.

How do I install and switch between the 3", 6" and 9" configurations?

Installation is tool-free: thread the extension onto the cue’s 3/8 x 14 joint and secure the quick-pin. To change reach, detach one or both sections and reattach as needed — the two-handle system is engineered for quick transitions between configurations.

• Screw the extension’s quick-pin into the cue butt for a secure connection.
• Detach the smaller section to use only the 3" piece or remove the 3" to use the 6" alone.
• Combine both sections until they click together for a full 9" extension.
• Swap the DUO-ready replacement butt cap when needed for a flush fit.
