CVLIFE Multi-Reticle Solar Green Dot Sight for RMSc RMS Footprint, Green Dot, Solar-Assisted 1x Reflex

CVLIFE Multi-Reticle Solar Green Dot Sight is a compact reflex optic that mounts to RMSc/RMS footprints and delivers selectable reticles, long battery life via solar assist, and low-deck co-witness capability for concealed carry pistols.

This lightweight 1x optic blends a solar-assisted power system with a side-mounted battery, an aluminum housing built for recoil, and three reticle choices to match close-quarters or precision needs. It’s engineered to sit low on the slide for co-witnessing with factory iron sights and includes adapters for RMR, GL MOS, and Picatinny, so you can confirm fitment before installation. The sight’s green reticle is designed for high contrast and reduced perceived blur for shooters who experience astigmatism.

How does the solar and battery power system extend runtime?

The sight combines a top-mounted solar cell with a low-draw electronics platform so it stays active far longer than typical reflex sights. When ambient light is available the solar panel offsets battery consumption, and the CR1632 backup battery keeps function when light is limited.

• Solar panel recharges electronics under natural or artificial light
• Side-mounted CR1632 battery for redundancy
• Rated operation up to 80,000 hours in normal use scenarios

What reticle options are available and when should I use each?

The optic offers three reticle configurations: a 40 MOA circle with a 2 MOA dot, a 40 MOA circle-only option, and a 2 MOA dot-only option. Use the circle-plus-dot for fast target acquisition and holdovers at varied distances, the circle-only for quick close-range engagements, and the small dot for more precise aiming at longer targets.

• 40 MOA circle + 2 MOA dot: versatile, dynamic shooting
• 40 MOA circle only: fastest aiming for short-range targets
• 2 MOA dot only: fine precision for extended range

Does the sight adapt to changing light and movement?

Yes — it has an automatic brightness mode that adjusts illumination to ambient light, plus Motion Awake technology that wakes the sight to the appropriate brightness after movement. Manual control is also available by holding both adjustment buttons to toggle between auto and manual modes.

• Auto-brightness: adapts to light changes for visible reticle
• Motion Awake: reduces idle battery drain, instant readiness after movement
• Manual override: quick toggle between auto and manual brightness settings

What are the build, durability, and mounting features?

The CVLIFE optic uses 7075 T6 aluminum with an anodized finish for a lightweight but robust package rated to withstand heavy recoil and temporary immersion. It offers a low 0.35" deck height for co-witness with many factory sights, ±40 MOA of adjustment travel, and 1 MOA click adjustments for precise zeroing.

• 7075 T6 aluminum housing with anodized surface
• Shock rating 3000G and IPX7 water submersion rating (1m, 30 minutes)
• Window: 0.63 x 0.81 inches, parallax-free with unlimited eye relief
• Includes adapters for RMR, GL MOS, and Picatinny — verify slide cut before ordering

Who is this for? The CVLIFE RMSc/RMS-footprint solar green dot sight is aimed at concealed-carry shooters who want a low-profile reflex optic with long runtime and flexible reticle options, competitive shooters seeking quick target acquisition, and anyone upgrading a compact pistol slide for faster aiming. Confirm your pistol’s optic cut and choose the adapter included with the sight to ensure compatibility before purchase.
