cyeollo Mermaid Dog Life Jacket, Blue Mermaid, Small (Chest Girth 18"–21") — Adjustable Float Coat with Chin Float & Reflective Trim

cyeollo's Mermaid Dog Life Jacket is a buoyant, adjustable swim vest with a chin float and mermaid-style tail that boosts safety and visibility for small dogs during water activities.

This light, durable vest pairs practical flotation with a playful mermaid silhouette. Built from ripstop polyester oxford with reinforced buoyant panels, it adds extra lift under the chest and belly while draining quickly so your dog stays comfortable as they paddle, ride in a boat, or practice swimming. Bright colors and reflective accents make it easier to spot your pet in daylight and low light.

How does the chin float support help my dog in the water?

The integrated chin float helps keep your dog’s head steady and above water when paddling or if they tire. It reduces neck strain and encourages a natural, forward-looking swimming posture without limiting range of motion.

• Raised front buoyancy to steady the snout and throat.
• Designed to promote forward-facing swim position.
• Makes resting in water safer for hesitant or recovering dogs.

Is the vest adjustable and easy to put on and take off?

Yes. The life vest uses quick-release buckles and multiple adjustable straps to fit a range of body shapes snugly while allowing fast dressing. The design balances a secure fit with comfort so your dog can move freely without the vest slipping.

• Quick-release buckles for fast on/off.
• Adjustable straps around chest and belly for a tailored fit.
• Available in sizes for small to large dogs; size S suits smaller breeds.

What materials and safety features make it suitable for boating and swimming?

The vest is constructed from tough ripstop polyester oxford and buoyant foam panels to resist wear and provide reliable lift. High-visibility colors and reflective strips enhance sightlines on open water or near shorelines, improving detection in mixed conditions.

• Durable ripstop polyester exterior for abrasion resistance.
• High-buoyancy foam inserts across chest and belly.
• Reflective stripes and bright blue color for visibility.

How do I care for the life jacket and keep it functioning well?

Rinse the vest with fresh water after each use to remove chlorine, salt, or debris, then air dry fully before storing to prevent mildew. The fabric drains and dries quickly thanks to thoughtful venting, and routine checks of buckles and seams ensure long-term performance.

• Rinse off salt or chlorine after use and air dry out of direct sun.
• Inspect straps and buckles periodically for wear or damage.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from sharp objects.

Who this is for: The cyeollo Mermaid Dog Life Jacket is ideal for owners of small-breed dogs who enjoy boating, lakeside swims, or water sports and want an easy-to-fit, buoyant vest with extra chin support and high visibility. It also suits pet parents training nervous swimmers, dogs recovering from minor injuries who need extra support in the water, or anyone who prefers a fun, mermaid-inspired look without sacrificing practical safety features.
