DeMarini Uprising USA Baseball Bat 28"/17 oz -11 Lightweight Alloy One-Piece for Youth

Built to help youth players generate quicker swings without sacrificing durability, the Uprising (-11) blends DeMarini's DX1™ high-strength alloy with a lightweight ION D End Cap and a stiff one-piece construction. The result is a bat that favors speed and barrel control, designed specifically for leagues using USA Baseball standards and for kids who are increasing their bat-to-ball contact and confidence at the plate.

How does the Uprising (-11) improve swing speed for young hitters?

The -11 length-to-weight drop produces a noticeably lighter feel in the hands, which helps younger players accelerate through the zone. The ION D End Cap reduces mass at the knob end of the barrel, shifting weight forward in a way that makes the swing feel quicker while maintaining a balanced swing path.

• -11 drop for an easier, faster swing
• ION D End Cap reduces swing weight for quick bat speed
• One-piece construction transmits energy directly for consistent motion

What materials and construction make the Uprising durable?

DeMarini uses its DX1™ Alloy in the barrel — a high-strength metal formulated to resist dents and maintain performance over time. The bat’s one-piece alloy design eliminates joints and inserts that can weaken with repeated use, offering long-term reliability for practices and game days.

• DX1™ Alloy barrel for strength and durability
• Seamless one-piece alloy construction to reduce failure points
• End cap engineered to protect the barrel while keeping weight down

Will this bat give consistent barrel control and contact?

The stiff one-piece profile combined with a precision-engineered alloy barrel helps players find the sweet spot more reliably. That controlled feel supports repeatable swings and improved contact, especially for hitters focusing on line drives and gap-to-gap hitting.

• Stiff one-piece feel for predictable barrel response
• DX1™ Alloy provides consistent performance across the barrel face
• Designed for younger hitters who prioritize contact and timing

Which sizes and leagues is the 28" / 17oz model suited for?

• 28" length with 17oz weight equals -11 drop
