DisplayGifts Military Challenge Coin Display Case — Black 7-Row Lockable UV-Protected Frame

DisplayGifts Military Challenge Coin Display Case is a lockable, wall-mountable flat-front frame designed to showcase up to seven rows of challenge coins, medals, pins, or casino chips with UV-protected clear door and a modern black finish.

If you collect military challenge coins, commemorative tokens, or poker chips and want a low-profile, secure way to present them, this DisplayGifts frame gives a tidy, museum-style solution for home or office walls. Crafted from selected solid wood with a matte background and a high-point flat front surface, the case balances contemporary looks with practical features such as grooved shelves, removable rows, and a crystal-clear UV protection door.

How many coins or medals will fit in this frame?

The frame holds seven horizontal shelves with grooves to steady coins and small items. The second, fourth and sixth shelves are removable to accommodate larger pieces up to 4.25" in diameter. Because interior depth is 1", coins in thick protective capsules may not fit—measurements matter.

• Exterior dimensions: 17.5" H x 14" W x 1 3/4" D
• Interior depth: 1"
• Row spacing: top & bottom rows 2.25", middle rows 2"
• Max item diameter on removable shelves: 4.25"

How does the frame protect my collection?

The case uses a hinged acrylic door with UV protection to reduce sun exposure and a tight seal to limit dust. Elegant lockable latches add security, preventing casual access while maintaining a clean display. The matte background and flat-front design reduce glare for better viewing.

• Crystal-clear UV protection acrylic door
• Lockable door latches for extra security
• Sealed front reduces the need for regular dusting
• Matte backing enhances contrast and visibility

How should I arrange coins to keep them from sliding?

Each shelf has a shallow groove along its length to grip the bottom edge of coins so they sit slanted toward the back. Because coin thickness varies, coins won’t slant identically; grouping similarly thick coins on the same row gives the neatest appearance. The grooves are stabilizers, not insertion slots.

• Grooved shelves hold coin bottoms in place
• Recommended: place coins of similar thickness together
• Coins are stabilized by the groove and lean slightly backward
• Shelves 2, 4, 6 removable for taller items

Is the frame ready to hang and easy to maintain?

Yes — the back includes metal wall brackets, so the unit is ready for immediate wall mounting with no assembly required. The protective acrylic door reduces dusting and the black finish wipes clean; periodic cleaning of the acrylic with a non-abrasive cloth preserves clarity.

• Wall brackets on the back for quick hanging
• No assembly required out of the box
• Wipe-clean black finish and acrylic door
• Keep coins in capsules only if their thickness fits the 1" interior depth

Who is this for: Collectors, veterans, active-duty personnel, museum curators with small displays, and hobbyists who want a sleek, secure wall display for challenge coins, medals, pins, or casino chips. If you need a compact, lockable frame that highlights items while protecting them from dust and UV light, the DisplayGifts Military Challenge Coin Display Case is a practical and attractive choice.
