Durovelo Bike Wall Mount Horizontal Hanger, 1 Pack, Adjustable Cradle for Bikes up to 48.5 lb

DUROVELO’s horizontal bike wall mount is an adjustable, space-saving indoor rack that securely holds road, mountain, and hybrid bikes up to 48.5 lbs while protecting frames from scratches.

If you need a tidy, reliable way to store one bike indoors without consuming floor space, this sturdy steel hanger offers an adjustable horizontal cradle, soft rubber protection, and a compact profile that fits apartments, garages, and utility rooms. It’s engineered to attach to solid studs, masonry, or concrete and comes with the hardware and instructions for a straightforward setup.

How does the mount protect my bike frame?

The arms are covered with super-soft NonScratch TPR rubber that cushions contact points and prevents scuffs or paint damage during storage. An included elastic rope secures the front wheel to stop rotation and reduce wall rubbing.

• TPR rubber cradles prevent scratches on aluminum, carbon, or steel frames
• Elastic wheel strap stabilizes the front wheel and minimizes movement
• Finish resists abrasion and keeps contact areas soft over time

Will this fit my bike and wall type?

The hanger supports most road, hybrid, and mountain bikes up to 48.5 lbs (22 kg) and features an extendable beam (8.7–15 inches) and adjustable angle up to 90° for different frame geometries. It is not suitable for fat-tire bikes, very long wheelbases, or bikes with handlebars wider than 31 inches (78 cm).

• Extendable beam accommodates a broad range of frame widths
• Adjustable angle ensures a level, secure hold for irregular frames
• Requires a solid stud, beam, masonry, or concrete mounting surface

How simple is the installation process?

Installation typically takes under 10 minutes with the included hardware and step-by-step instructions. The rack’s design keeps the number of parts low and the mounting straightforward, but proper anchoring to a stud or solid wall is essential for safe use.

• All necessary fasteners and clear instructions included
• Low-part count for faster assembly and fewer alignment steps
• Not recommended for unsupported plasterboard without locating studs

How durable and safe is the rack for long-term use?

Constructed from premium steel with a scratch-resistant finish, the mount is built for repeated loading and unloading while maintaining its appearance. When installed on a solid structural surface, it reliably supports daily use and helps preserve bike condition over time.

• Heavy-gauge steel body resists bending under rated weight
• Scratch-proof coating preserves finish and prevents rust
• Engineered load capacity is 48.5 lbs (22 kg) for common bike types

Who is this for: The DUROVELO horizontal wall mount is ideal for apartment dwellers, garage organizers, entryway stagers, and anyone who wants to reclaim floor space while keeping a single road, hybrid, or mountain bike safe and visible. Choose this rack if you have a solid mounting surface and a bike within the weight and size limits; if you own a fat-tire bike or an extra-long frame, consider specialized mounts instead.
