Eafengrow EF150 Fixed Blade Knife, Black, 6mm Sleipner Steel with Micarta Handle

Designed for demanding tasks, the EF150 pairs a thick, corrosion-resistant Sleipner stainless-steel blade with a comfortable, anti-slip micarta grip and a secure Kydex sheath. At 12.3 inches overall and weighing 444g (558g with sheath), this straight fixed blade balances cutting power with controllable handling. The stone-wash finish reduces visible wear while the wide drop-point profile handles chopping, slicing and utility chores without fuss.

How tough is the blade and what steel is used?

The blade is made from Swedish Sleipner stainless steel hardened to roughly 60–62 HRC and finished with a black stone-wash to hide wear and resist scratches. At 6mm spine thickness, it’s built for heavy cutting and light chopping while remaining serviceable to reprofile or sharpen when needed.

• 6 mm thick spine for strength under load
• Sleipner stainless steel for corrosion resistance and edge retention
• Black stone-wash finish to hide wear and reduce glare
• Drop-point profile for a versatile cutting tip and robust belly

What kind of handle and ergonomics does the EF150 offer?

The full-tang handle uses two-tone micarta scales with colorful G10 spacers for visual contrast and added durability. The ergonomically shaped grip suits larger hands and is textured to reduce slip in wet or muddy conditions, keeping fatigue low during extended use.

• Two-tone micarta scales for a secure, weather-resistant grip
• G10 spacers for strength and visual distinction
• Ergonomic shaping to reduce hand fatigue on long tasks
• Full-tang construction for maximum strength and balance

How does the Kydex sheath perform for carry and deployment?

The included Kydex sheath is molded for snug retention and quiet carry while allowing quick, confident draws. It’s lightweight, heat-resistant and corrosion-proof, with an adjustable clip for vertical, horizontal or scout-style carry setups.

• Tight, rattle-free retention with quick deployment
• Adjustable clip fits various belt widths and carry angles
• Lightweight, high-temperature-resistant Kydex construction
• Secure carry for vertical and horizontal attachment styles

What tasks is this knife best suited for?

The EF150 is aimed at heavy-duty EDC and outdoor tasks where a robust blade is needed: cutting, batoning small wood, fieldcraft, and general work around camps, ranches, or job sites. It’s not a delicate kitchen knife but a practical tool for rugged, repeated use.

• Chopping and baton work with a thick, wide blade
• Field dressing and general outdoor cutting tasks
• Worksite utility: ropes, packaging, and light demolition
• Emergency and rescue situations where reliability matters

Who is this for? The Eafengrow EF150 suits outdoorspeople, tradespeople and tactical-minded users who need a dependable, full-tang fixed blade that withstands heavy use. If you want a large, solid knife with strong edge retention, corrosion resistance and a comfortable, non-slip grip for extended use, this model balances durability and everyday practicality.
