Easton Dugout Youth Backpack Gear Bag, Black, fits youth helmet & bats, padded air-mesh

Easton Dugout Youth Backpack is a compact, breathable baseball/softball gear bag that carries a helmet, glove, bats and personal items while keeping players comfortable and organized.

Designed for youth players who need smart, game-day storage without extra bulk, this Easton Dugout backpack balances capacity and comfort. The main compartment holds core equipment, mesh side pockets accept bats or bottles, and air-mesh padding reduces sweat during walks to practice or the field. Small but thoughtful touches—like a fence hook and rubberized zipper pulls—help keep the bench and dugout tidy.

How much gear will fit in the main compartment?

The main compartment is sized for typical youth baseball and softball essentials. It can accommodate a batting helmet and a youth glove at the same time, plus a few smaller items such as batting gloves, a spare hat, or a lightweight jacket. The compartment’s shape and zipper opening make it easy to pack and retrieve gear quickly.

• Fits a youth batting helmet and glove simultaneously
• Room for extra items like gloves, cleat bag, or practice tee
• Wide zipper access for fast packing and unpacking

Can I carry bats and drinks without crowding the bag?

Yes—two mesh side pockets are built specifically for bats or water bottles, keeping long items separate from the main pocket so equipment won’t crush mitts or helmets. The mesh design drains and dries faster than solid fabric, making it practical for sweaty days or after rinsing bottles. This layout also helps balance weight on both sides for steadier carrying.

• Two external mesh pockets for 1–2 youth bats or bottles
• Mesh allows airflow and quick drying
• Separated storage prevents equipment from crowding helmet/glove

Is the Easton Dugout comfortable to wear for travel and practice?

Comfort is prioritized with padded back and shoulder straps that use air mesh to boost breathability. The cushioning reduces pressure on shoulders while venting helps lower perspiration on hot days. Adjustable straps ensure a snug fit for different body sizes typical of youth players.

• Padded shoulder straps with air-mesh fabric for cooler carrying
• Padded back panel to reduce pressure points during walks
• Adjustable straps accommodate growing players

What practical features help keep gear organized at the field?

Small details make a difference in busy dugouts: a fence hook keeps the bag off the ground and out of the way, while custom rubber zipper pulls are easy to grab with slippery or gloved hands. A front personal pocket stores keys, snacks, or a phone for quick access so players don’t need to unzip the main compartment mid-game.

• Fence hook for hanging on dugout rails
• Custom rubber zipper pulls for improved grip
• Large front pocket for small accessories and valuables

Who is this for: The Easton Dugout Youth Backpack is ideal for young baseball and softball players, parents who pack for practices, and coaches looking for a compact gear solution. It’s best suited to players who need reliable, everyday storage for helmet, glove, a bat or two, and personal items without the bulk of a full-sized equipment bag.
