Ergon men's SM Pro MTB saddle, Stealth, Size Small-Medium — orthopedic AirCell comfort for trail riding

The Ergon SM MTB Pro Men Stealth S/M is a men’s-specific mountain bike saddle designed to reduce perineal pressure and deliver pro-level comfort on long, rough rides.

Built for aggressive trail and marathon MTB riding, this saddle combines an ergonomic shape, lightweight orthopedic AirCell foam, and a rearward relief channel to protect sensitive areas while keeping you in control. The flatter profile and slick side flanks let you move freely on the bars and pedals, while OrthoCell inlays provide targeted support where the sit bones bear most of the load.

How does the SM MTB Pro reduce pressure on sensitive areas?

The saddle uses a rearward-positioned relief channel and a surface contour shaped specifically for male anatomy to redistribute weight away from the perineum. By focusing load onto the sit bones, it minimizes hotspots and reduces the risk of numbness during long efforts.

• Rearward comfort relief channel for perineal offloading
• Male-specific surface shape following anatomical contours
• OrthoCell inlays concentrate support under the sit bones

What materials and construction provide the ride quality?

Comfort comes from lightweight orthopedic AirCell foam that balances cushioning and pedaling efficiency. The construction pairs this foam with OrthoCell inserts and a flatter overall profile so the saddle supports extended rides without excessive bulk.

• Orthopedic AirCell foam for responsive cushioning
• OrthoCell inlays for targeted pressure distribution
• Slick side flanks to reduce leg friction while pedaling

Will this saddle suit aggressive or technical mountain biking?

Yes — the SM MTB Pro’s flatter profile and slick flanks are designed to aid movement for stand-and-sit transitions common in technical trail riding. The shape lets you shift position quickly without catching on the saddle edges, useful on steep climbs, drops, and long descents.

• Flatter profile for easy fore-aft movement
• Slick side flanks for reduced thigh rubbing during cadence changes
• Durable build to withstand off-road use and marathon distances

How should I choose the right size and fit for this model?

Fit depends on your sit-bone width and preferred riding posture. The Stealth S/M fits riders who need a narrower to medium contact platform; pair with a proper bike fit or sit-bone measurement to confirm comfort and pedaling efficiency.

• S/M size suits narrower to medium sit-bone measurements
• Consider a professional fit or sit-bone measurement for best results
• Adjust fore-aft position to optimize pressure distribution on sit bones

Who is this saddle for? The Ergon SM MTB Pro Men Stealth S/M is aimed at male mountain bikers who cover long distances, race marathons, or ride technical trails and need a saddle that reduces numbness while allowing dynamic movement. It’s a fit for riders who prioritize targeted pressure relief, lightweight comfort, and the ability to shift position freely during demanding rides. If you spend hours in the saddle or compete in endurance off-road disciplines, this model offers a purpose-built shape and materials to support sustained comfort without sacrificing control.
