EVERHANGER Wall Mounted Kayak Storage Rack Holds 1 Kayak (1 Pair) Black, Heavy-Duty Steel with EVA Foam & Paddle Hook

EVERHANGER's wall-mounted 2-pack kayak storage rack securely holds kayaks, canoes, and boards while protecting them with EVA foam padding and supporting up to 200 lbs per pair.

Neatly stow your watercraft and free up floor space with a durable, compact solution designed for garages, sheds, patios, or boathouses. Constructed from industrial-grade steel and finished with a black powder coat, this two-piece rack set resists rust and delivers long-term support for recreational gear. Each rack arm is wrapped in thick EVA foam to prevent scratches, and an integrated lower hook keeps paddles, life vests, or accessories organized and within reach.

How much weight and what types of boats will this hold?

The EVERHANGER pair is engineered to support heavy recreational craft safely: one pair of arms carries up to 200 lbs when properly mounted into solid framing or with appropriate anchors. It works for most kayaks, canoes, surfboards and other elongated gear used in home storage.

• Weight capacity: up to 200 lbs per 2-arm set when installed correctly
• Compatible: sit-on-top and sit-inside kayaks, canoes, surfboards, paddleboards
• Also suitable for ladders, lumber, folding chairs and hoses

Will the rack scratch or damage my kayak?

No—the load-bearing arms are sheathed in thick EVA foam to cushion hulls and prevent slippage. The padding reduces contact pressure and abrasion during storage, transport to the rack, and retrieval.

• Thick EVA foam wraps the arms to absorb pressure and prevent scratches
• Rounded arm profiles reduce sharp contact points on hulls
• Powder-coated steel minimizes corrosion that could mark gear

How easy is installation for someone without carpentry experience?

Installation is straightforward and designed for homeowners with minimal DIY skills. The kit includes mounting hardware and clear step-by-step instructions; typical setup takes minutes if you have the right tools and a suitable wall or studs.

• All mounting hardware is included for standard stud installation
• Instructions provide anchor options for masonry or drywall with appropriate fasteners
• Simple two-arm assembly and straightforward leveling process

Can this rack be used outdoors, and how does it weather over time?

The steel frame is finished with a black powder coat that resists rust and corrosion for outdoor or indoor use. While built to withstand typical exposure, best longevity comes from mounting in a sheltered or ventilated area rather than continuous direct saltwater spray.

• Durable powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance
• Suitable for garages, covered patios, boathouses, and sheds
• For coastal installations, periodic inspection recommended to maintain fasteners
