Everlast Youth Boxing Gloves Prospect — Red Glove, 8oz with Multi-Layer Foam & Breathable Palm

Everlast Prospect Youth Boxing Glove in red is an 8oz training glove built to protect young athletes with multi-layer foam, breathable palm mesh, and a hook-and-loop wrist closure for secure fit.

Designed for boxing, kickboxing, MMA and general martial arts practice, the Prospect youth glove brings features from pro equipment into a kid-sized package. Durable materials and layered impact foam aim to balance protection, mobility and comfort so young fighters can train confidently during pads, bags and partner drills.

What protection does the Prospect glove provide for kids?

The glove uses multiple layers of foam to disperse impact energy and create a safer striking surface for beginners and developing athletes. The profile protects knuckles while maintaining a slim enough shape for proper hand positioning.

• Multi-layer foam padding for gradual shock absorption
• Curved striking surface to support fist alignment
• Reinforced thumb area to encourage safe hand placement

How does the glove keep hands cool and comfortable?

Breathability is addressed with a ventilated palm to reduce moisture buildup during active sessions. The Evercool mesh helps airflow so gloves feel lighter and fresher between rounds.

• Evercool mesh palm improves ventilation
• Sweat-managing interior for longer training comfort
• Low-bulk profile reduces heat retention compared with fully padded palms

Is the wrist support secure for young trainees?

A wide hook-and-loop wrist closure locks the glove in place to limit unwanted movement and give coaches confidence in a snug fit. It makes the glove easy to put on and take off without assistance, useful for kids who are learning to gear up independently.

• Hook-and-loop strap delivers adjustable, stable wrist support
• Wrap design minimizes roll and keeps the hand aligned
• User-friendly fastening for quick changes between drills

Will these gloves work across different martial arts?

While sized and cushioned for youth boxing training, the Prospect gloves are versatile enough for kickboxing, MMA striking drills, and general martial-arts practice. Their construction prioritizes safe contact and repeated-use durability.

• 8oz weight suited for junior striking and pad work
• Durable outer material withstands frequent practice sessions
• Neutral design compatible with multiple combat sports
