Fat Cat by GLD Products Predator 80% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts — 23g Black, Aluminum Locking Shafts & Wolf-Print Flights

Fat Cat Predator is a 23-gram steel-tip dart set with 80% tungsten barrels, aluminum locking shafts, wolf-print flights, and a deluxe carry case for sisal dartboards.

These Fat Cat by GLD Products Predator darts combine a high-density 80% tungsten barrel with precision grip patterns and secure locking shafts to deliver a slim, stable dart built for tighter groupings. The kit arrives ready-to-play with spare parts and a protective Deluxe Dart Pal case, making it suitable for casual players upgrading their equipment or intermediate players seeking better consistency.

Why does 80% tungsten matter for my throw?

Higher tungsten content increases barrel density, allowing the manufacturer to make a thinner barrel while keeping the same weight. A slimmer profile reduces interference between darts in the board, helping you form closer clusters and improving scoring potential.

• Denser metal lets 23 g fit into a smaller diameter barrel.
• Smaller profile creates less deflection when darts land close together.
• 80% tungsten balances affordability and performance for intermediate players.

How do the grip and barrel features improve consistency?

The Predator barrels use double knurled bands, deep grooves, and rings placed for repeatable finger placement. These tactile elements encourage the same grip and release every throw, reducing variability and helping you dial in a consistent aim.

• Two knurled bands provide clear fingertip landmarks.
• Deep grooves and hand-painted rings guide hand placement.
• Balanced weight distribution supports stable rotation in flight.

What advantages do the aluminum locking shafts and flight design offer?

Aluminum Color Master shafts are lighter than many alternatives and include locking holes to create a secure fit with the barrel. Combined with the wide glide wolf-print flights, this setup reduces wobble and drag to produce a predictable flight path.

• Locking holes keep shafts snug and reduce mid-game loosening.
• Lightweight shafts help maintain the barrel’s intended center of gravity.
• Wide glide flights increase stability and repeatable landing angles.

What’s included and how does the case protect the set?

The package is complete: three steel-tip darts, extra flights and nylon shafts, flight protectors, a dart mechanic tool, and a Deluxe Dart Pal case. The case pairs a rigid outer shell with a soft cloth interior to protect barrels, shafts, and flights during storage or travel.

• 3 x 23 g steel-tip darts with 80% tungsten barrels.
• Extras: 3 flights, 6 nylon shafts, 3 flight protectors, and a wrench tool.
• Deluxe Dart Pal: hard outer shell plus soft-lined interior for secure storage.
