findmall 36V 5A Replacement Battery Charger for EZGO TXT Medalist – D Powerwise Plug, Aluminum Case

Findmall's 36 volt 5 amp battery charger is a direct replacement charger for EZGO TXT Medalist and other 36V lead‑acid golf carts using the "D" Powerwise plug.

If your golf cart runs on a 36V lead‑acid system and uses the Powerwise "D" connector, this Findmall charger delivers a reliable 5A charge in a compact aluminum‑cased unit. It’s built to fit as a replacement for EZGO TXT Medalist models and many other 36V carts, including Yamaha, Star, Taylor‑Dunn and Club Car systems that use the same voltage and plug style. The charger includes a US mains cord and a charging line with labeled DC wires (brown positive, blue negative) for straightforward installation.

How do I know this charger will fit my golf cart?

Match the voltage, amperage and connector type on your cart. This unit is specifically 36V DC output at 5A and uses the "D" Style Powerwise plug used by many EZGO TXT Medalist carts.

• Confirm battery bank voltage is 36V.
• Verify your cart requires a 5A charger (see battery Ah × 0.125 rule below).
• Ensure the cart has the Powerwise "D" style connector or compatible adapter.

How do I pick the right charger amperage for my batteries?

Use the battery capacity formula: multiply amp‑hours by 0.125 to find the recommended charger amperage. That keeps charging within the manufacturer’s suggested rate for standard lead‑acid packs.

• Example: 40Ah battery × 0.125 = 5A charger.
• If your battery bank is 36V 40Ah, this 5A charger is appropriate.
• Do not undersize or greatly oversize the charger relative to battery specifications.

What safety and usage details should I be aware of?

The charger includes safety notes to protect the unit and batteries. It uses an aluminum case as a heat sink—avoid covering it during operation—and the unit may spark briefly when connected due to high inrush current.

• Brown DC wire = positive; blue DC wire = negative.
• Sparking at connection is normal with high current; brief sparks are expected.
• If LED2 stays red and never turns green after long charging, the battery may be damaged.
• Do not disassemble—seek qualified service for repairs.

Can I use this charger with lithium battery systems?

No. This Findmall charger is made only for 36V lead‑acid batteries; it is not compatible with lithium‑ion or other lithium battery chemistries. Using it on lithium packs can damage the battery and void warranties.

• Only for 36V lead‑acid battery systems.
• Not for lithium‑ion, LiFePO4, or other lithium chemistries.
• Choose a charger designed for your battery chemistry if not lead‑acid.

Who should buy this charger? This replacement is designed for golf cart owners, fleet managers and maintenance technicians who operate EZGO TXT Medalist or other 36V carts with the Powerwise "D" connector and lead‑acid batteries. It’s suited for routine charging needs where a 5A charging rate is appropriate — especially for 36V 40Ah battery banks — and for anyone seeking a compact unit with labeled DC leads and a sturdy aluminum case. If your setup uses lithium cells or a different connector type, select a battery‑specific charger instead.
