Fiwochic Retractable Dock Cleats 4-Pack Folding Boat Cleats — Low-Profile Composite, Corrosion-Resistant

Fiwochic 4-piece retractable dock cleats are low-profile, flip-up boat cleats that provide secure mooring for yachts, kayaks, skis and decks while stowing flat when not in use.

These folding cleats combine a compact footprint with corrosion-resistant composite construction to deliver dependable docking points across a wide range of watercraft. Each set contains four identical cleats sized to accommodate common rope sizes and mounting patterns, making them a versatile option for DIY installs or boat refits. The retractable design keeps decks clear and lowers trip hazards when the cleats aren’t in use, while the flip-up action gives immediate access when you need to tie off.

How do these cleats perform when securing a boat at the dock?

The Fiwochic cleats offer consistent holding power suitable for everyday docking and mooring in sheltered to moderate conditions. Their geometry is designed for quick rope wraps and firm bite, helping keep vessels stable while loading, unloading, or waiting for tides. Use appropriate stainless fasteners and check torque to ensure a long-lasting installation.

• Four cleats provide multiple attachment points for lines and backups.
• Flip-up horns give secure wraps and quick release capability.
• Composite body resists saltwater corrosion for steady performance.
• Low-profile when folded reduces tripping and snagging on deck.

Will these cleats fit my boat or dock setup?

Each cleat measures approximately 6.46 x 10 x 1.26 inches (16.4 x 25.4 x 3.2 cm), dimensions chosen to suit most small-to-medium vessels and common decking layouts. The universal size works well for kayaks, tenders, skiffs, jet skis, and many yachts when positioned correctly. Confirm available mounting area and select appropriate screws or bolts for your surface material.

• Overall size matches typical cleat footprints for retrofits.
• Fits fiberglass, wood, composite decks and many aluminum surfaces.
• Mounting hardware is not included—use marine-grade fasteners.
• Slim folded height allows installation in narrow or crowded areas.

How durable and weather-resistant are these folding dock cleats?

Constructed from a sturdy composite/plastic blend, the cleats are built to endure outdoor exposure and marine conditions. The materials resist UV degradation and saltwater corrosion better than untreated metals, reducing maintenance needs. Regular inspection of mounting points and occasional cleaning will keep them functioning smoothly over seasons.

• Composite construction reduces rust and pitting common to metal cleats.
• UV-stable finish helps prevent color fading and surface brittleness.
• Simple flip mechanism designed for repeated use without complex parts.
• Rinse with fresh water to remove salt and extend service life.
