Fox 40 Rechargeable Electronic Whistle, Black — 120 dB USB Rechargeable with Lanyard & Travel Case

Designed as a hygienic and durable alternative to traditional pea or pea-less whistles, the Fox 40 Rechargeable Electronic Whistle provides a consistent, piercing single-tone signal at high volume. It replicates the recognizable Fox 40 signature sound using electronic amplification, while a built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery simplifies care and long-term use. This model ships with a USB charger, wrist loop lanyard, and a protective magnetic case for organized storage and travel.

How loud is the Fox 40 Rechargeable Electronic Whistle and when will I hear it best?

The whistle produces a focused 120 dB single-tone output designed to cut through crowd noise, traffic, and ambient outdoor sounds. Because the sound is software-defined and directional, aim the device toward the area where you want the signal heard for maximum effectiveness.

• 120 dB single-tone output modeled after the Fox 40 Classic sound.
• Designed to be heard over crowds, machinery, and environmental noise.
• Directional firing — point the mouth of the unit toward the target area.
• Consistent volume with every press, no blowing required.

How long does the battery last and how do I recharge it?

This whistle uses a 3.7V, 500 mAh lithium-polymer battery with an integrated protection circuit, giving extended operating time between charges. Typical use supports 24+ hours of sound in the field, and recharging is simple with the included USB cable; an indicator light shows full charge.

• 3.7V, 500 mAh rechargeable battery for prolonged use.
• Indicator light turns green when fully charged.
• USB charging for convenient top-ups from power banks or vehicle chargers.
• Integrated protection circuit to help preserve battery health.

How portable and durable is the whistle for active use?

The Fox 40 Rechargeable Electronic Whistle is compact and lightweight, easy to carry in the hand or attach to gear. It comes with a loop wrist lanyard and a reusable magnetic case sized for travel, making it suitable for coaches, officials, outdoor enthusiasts, and safety personnel.

• Measures roughly 5" x 1.8" and weighs about 0.5 lb for easy handling.
• Includes wrist loop lanyard for quick access on the job or trail.
• Reusable 6.5" x 3.5" x 2.5" magnetic case for storage and transport.

How simple is it to operate and maintain the device?

Operation is straightforward: press the button to emit a loud, consistent tone; release to stop. Maintenance involves occasional charging and keeping the unit and contacts clean; there are no internal moving parts like a pea, reducing contamination risk and improving reliability.

• Single-button activation for quick signaling under stress.
• Mini USB charging port with included cable for ease of recharge.
• Hygienic electronic design eliminates mouth contact required by traditional whistles.
• Store in the magnetic case to protect the unit between uses.
