How does this goal hold up against hard shots and frequent play?

Its 1.5" steel tubing and rugged joints are engineered to resist bending and twisting under forceful slap shots and repeated impacts. The heavy-duty netting is fitted to the frame to reduce stress points and keep the goal functional season after season.

• 1.5" elite steel tubing for improved frame strength and durability
• Pre-fit polyester netting designed to absorb and distribute impact
• Snap-lock assembly minimizes loose hardware and weak connection points

What makes this goal feel like an authentic hockey target?

At regulation dimensions of 72" x 48", the target matches standard league sizing so players can train with true-to-game proportions. The low-profile crossbar and post spacing provide the same look and sightlines found in competitive settings, helping shooters and goalies build relevant skills.

• 72" width and 48" height for regulation feel
• Metal frame replicates the solidity of rink goals
• Net tension and geometry mirror on-ice targets for realistic rebounds

Is assembly and storage manageable for one person?

Yes—snap-lock joints and a diagrammed instruction sheet reduce assembly time and the need for extra tools. The frame components break down to compact pieces that are easy to move and store in a garage or shed between uses.

• Snap-lock connections speed up setup and teardown
• Diagrammed instructions guide a single-builder assembly
• Frame disassembles into manageable lengths for storage

How does this goal help training for players at different levels?

The Franklin Sports Champion goal suits shooters, stickhandlers, and goalies aiming to sharpen accuracy, reaction, and positioning away from the rink. Its durability supports repetitive drills like shooting lanes, rebound control, and in-home goaltending practice without needing constant repair.

• Stable frame supports repetitive shooting and rebound drills
• Regulation sizing builds transferable on-ice skills
• Heavy-duty netting stands up to training intensity
