Furlihong 691BH Baseball & Softball Toss Machine – Foot‑Operated, 4 Speeds, No Batteries

The Furlihong 691BH is a foot‑operated 2‑in‑1 toss machine that launches baseballs and softballs at four adjustable speeds for solo or team batting practice.

Compact and battery‑free, the Furlihong 691BH toss machine provides consistent, repeatable feeds for hitters who want affordable, no‑electric training at home, on the field, or at practice. It ships with two chutes and one PU baseball plus one PU softball so you can start drills immediately. The unit’s pedal activation and four gearing options let coaches and players tailor the pace and trajectory to age and ability without complicated setup.

How does the Furlihong 691BH change a typical practice session?

This toss machine replaces a coach or partner for routine reps, delivering steady, timed feeds so batters focus on swing mechanics and timing. Because the device produces uniform tosses, it makes it easier to isolate specific skills like hand path, stride length, and contact point.

• Consistent launch intervals — set by stepping the red pedal for automatic feeds.
• Four speed gears let you simulate slower softball or quicker baseball tosses.
• Compact footprint fits backyards, batting cages, or field sidelines.
• Includes both baseball and softball chutes for rapid switching between sports.

What adjustments are available for different ages and abilities?

The 691BH offers four distinct speed settings: lower gears for younger players and higher gears tuned for softball placements. Adjustments are mechanical and intuitive, so sessions stay focused on repetition instead of tinkering with electronics.

• Levels 1–2 optimized for baseball drills and smaller ball velocity.
• Levels 3–4 geared toward softball toss speed and arc.
• Foot pedal control prevents accidental launches and simplifies timing.
• No battery or electricity required — perfect for portable use.

How simple is setup and day‑to‑day use?

Setup is straightforward: attach the included chute, load a PU baseball or softball, position the machine, and press the pedal to launch. Because the unit is foot‑operated and requires no power source, it stays ready for spontaneous training sessions without charging or plugging in.

• Plug‑free design — operate anywhere without outlets or batteries.
• Two chutes included so you can swap between ball types quickly.
• Launches in about five seconds after the pedal is pressed.
• Durable housing suits backyard use and light field work.

What comes in the box, and what maintenance does it need?

The package includes the Furlihong 691BH toss machine, two ball chutes, one PU baseball, and one PU softball. Maintenance is minimal: keep the pedal area free of debris, wipe down the exterior after wet conditions, and check moving parts periodically for wear.

• Included accessories: 2 chutes, 1 PU baseball, 1 PU softball — ready to train out of the box.
• Simple upkeep: clean pedal and housing, inspect mechanical components.
• Store indoors when not in use to extend longevity.
• Replacement parts are typically mechanical and straightforward to source.

It’s a practical choice for backyard training, small teams, travel practice, or anyone who prefers a portable, foot‑operated machine for repetitive batting reps.
