All-Star Future Star T-Ball Catcher's Kit, Size Age 5-7, Hockey-Style Helmet and Clipless Chest Protector

The All-Star Future Star™ T-Ball Catcher's Kit is a complete youth catcher set that includes a hockey-style helmet, clipless chest protector, durable leg guards and a detachable throat guard built for kids ages 5–7.

This kit is designed to give new catchers the protective gear and simple fit systems they need to step onto the field with confidence. Each piece is scaled for T-ball players and built to stand up to repeated use during practices and games. The set focuses on easy on/off features so a young player or coach can get the gear in place quickly without wrestling with straps or clips.

How does the helmet protect and fit a young catcher?

The Future Star helmet follows a traditional hockey-style headgear silhouette that offers full head coverage and a stable cage for facial protection. Its design balances airflow and impact resistance while keeping weight down for small players. The helmet shell and cage are sized so a 5–7-year-old can wear it comfortably through early seasons.

• Hockey-style shell with full face cage for coverage
• Lightweight construction to reduce neck strain
• Sized for youth head proportions to ensure secure fit

What makes the chest protector easy to use for kids and parents?

The chest protector features an integrated shoulder pad layout and a clipless fit system so it slips on like a shirt. Rather than fiddling with multiple buckles, you simply pull tabs to adjust tension for a quick, customized fit. That straightforward approach reduces prep time and keeps coaches focused on practice.

• Integrated shoulder pads for full upper-body coverage
• Clipless design—put on like a shirt, then pull tabs to tighten
• Simple adjustments speed pre-game routines

Are the leg guards durable and simple to secure?

The T-ball leg guards are built to handle everyday use and multiple innings of play, with reinforced areas where wear is most likely. A fast-strapping system with just two hooks keeps the guards secure without complicated fasteners, so kids can move freely behind the plate. Materials and construction emphasize durability while staying lightweight.

• Durable outer shell where impact and abrasion occur most
• Two-hook fast-strapping system for quick, reliable closure
• Contoured fit shaped for small legs to prevent slipping

How does the detachable throat guard add value?

The included detachable throat guard gives extra coverage for the neck area and can be removed when not needed for drills or relaxed practice. Its attach/detach method is straightforward so coaches can adapt protection level to skill or activity. This flexibility helps the kit work across different learning stages and comfort preferences.

• Detachable throat guard for optional extra protection
• Easy attachment system for quick use or removal
• Works with the helmet and chest protector for layered coverage
