GEAR AID HEROCLIP Medium carabiner clip and hook, Shade of Gray, 1 Pack, 60 lb capacity with 360° rotation

The GEAR AID HEROCLIP Medium is a compact 3-in-1 carabiner clip and hook that secures, rotates, and nests to hang heavy or awkward items up to 60 lbs anywhere.

Engineered for outdoor use, travel, and everyday organization, this medium HEROCLIP combines a wide-gate carabiner, a rotating hinge, and a grippy rubber hook into one lightweight aluminum tool. It solves the common problem of where to put bulky bags, buckets, or gear when a shelf or hook isn't available, and it folds flat for pocket or pack storage. Built from aircraft-grade aluminum, the Medium size balances strength and clearance to handle larger loads and thicker handles than standard carabiners.

How does the HEROCLIP handle heavy or awkward gear?

The HEROCLIP Medium is rated to hold up to 60 lbs and delivers secure hanging with a rubber-tipped hook that resists slipping on flat surfaces. Its wide gate accommodates bulkier straps, ropes, and bundled items that smaller clips can't accept. The rotating hinge lets the clip orient naturally under load to keep things balanced.

• 60 lb weight capacity for backpacks, buckets, and multiple bags
• Wide carabiner gate clearance (1.5") for thicker straps and handles
• Rubber-tipped hook for slip-resistant hanging on flat edges
• 360° rotation to align load direction and reduce twisting

What makes the Medium size different from other HEROCLIP models?

Medium is designed as the go-to size when you need more clearance than the small but don’t want the bulk of the large model. Its dimensions provide a balance of compactness and capacity: the gate and hook clearances are larger for accommodating duffels, bundled cords, and multi-bag loads. When closed, the two parts nest together so it packs down slim in a pocket or gear pouch.

• Gate clearance: 1.5" — fits thicker straps and handles
• Hook clearance: 1.8" — hangs over wider edges and rails
• Closed dimensions: about 3" x 3.75", weight ≈ 2 oz
• Aircraft-grade aluminum construction for strength and low weight

Where can I use the HEROCLIP during trips and at home?

The HEROCLIP is built for versatile use: attach it to trees, fences, ladders, rails, and stalls or loop it around stroller frames and backpacks. It works equally well in the garage for organizing extension cords and tools, in the campsite for hanging coolers or lanterns, and on the road for suspending carry-ons or purses from bathroom stall doors. Because the hook and clip nest, it’s easy to carry as part of travel, daily carry, or emergency kits.

• Camping and hiking: hang backpacks, lanterns, and water jugs
• Travel: suspend carry-ons, purses, or coats in stalls and hotels
• Garage and DIY: organize tools, extension cords, and buckets
• Everyday carry: attach to strollers, bikes, belts, and harnesses

Who is this for? Adventurers, travelers, parents, handypersons, and anyone who needs a compact, durable hanging solution will benefit from the GEAR AID HEROCLIP Medium. If you frequently juggle oversized bags, bulky equipment, or want to declutter your garage, campsite, or vehicle, this HEROCLIP offers a reliable way to hang and organize gear without permanent mounts. Note: it is not rated for climbing or life-safety applications; use only for storage and transport tasks where disconnection won't cause harm.
