Giro Cruz Ski & Snowboard Goggles for Women, Men & Youth, Black Future/Clear, One Size OTG Anti‑Fog EXV

The Giro Cruz ski goggles are a helmet-compatible, OTG-friendly ski and snowboard goggle with anti-fog coating and an expanded peripheral view for clear vision on the slopes.

Built for skiers and snowboarders who need dependable optics, the Giro Cruz combines anti-fog protection, Over-The-Glasses (OTG) fit, and Giro’s Expansion View (EXV) frame design to maximize visibility while remaining comfortable with helmets or prescription eyewear. The Cruz ships with a clear cylindrical thermoformed lens and features double-layer microfleece foam, a silicone-backed strap, and a design tuned to work seamlessly with Giro helmets.

How do these goggles prevent fogging during activity?

The Cruz uses a dedicated anti-fog coating on the lens and increased internal air volume to help reduce condensation during high-output use. Its double-layer face foam and precise venting also promote airflow to keep the lens clear longer than standard single-layer designs.

• Anti-fog coating on the lens to limit fog build-up.
• Increased internal air volume for better circulation.
• Double-layer foam with microfleece for moisture management and comfort.
• Thermoformed lens construction for consistent optical performance.

Will these goggles fit over my prescription glasses?

Yes — the Giro Cruz is engineered as OTG-friendly, offering extra interior volume and a refined frame profile that accommodates many prescription frames without pressure points. The OTG fit keeps your glasses comfortable while preserving the goggle’s seal and ventilation for clear vision.

• OTG interior spacing designed to accept most eyeglass frames.
• Soft, shaped foam reduces pressure on glasses and face.
• Ventilation and anti-fog features remain effective with glasses worn inside.

What makes the Expansion View (EXV) design beneficial on the slopes?

Giro’s EXV design minimizes frame intrusion and expands the spherical lens footprint, giving a wider field of view compared with traditional framed goggles. The reduced rim and frameless zones focus on maximizing peripheral awareness so you can better read terrain, spot other riders, and react faster.

• Shaved frame rim and frameless zones increase visible lens area.
• Spherical-inspired lens shape optimizes peripheral clarity.
• Helmet-compatible geometry for unobstructed sightlines while wearing a helmet.

How do these goggles pair with helmets and typical winter gear?

The Cruz is designed to interface smoothly with Giro helmets, using strap geometry and a silicone-backed strap to keep the goggle stable over helmets or beanies. The build prioritizes a reliable fit and minimal gaper gap so the goggles perform consistently in cold, windy, or active conditions.

• Seamless compatibility with Giro helmets ensures reliable alignment and fit.
• Silicone on the strap prevents slippage over helmets and hat fabrics.
• Low-profile frame rim reduces helmet interference and pressure points.

Who is this for: The Giro Cruz suits recreational and performance-minded skiers and snowboarders who need a versatile, OTG-capable goggle with strong anti-fog performance and an expanded field of view. It’s a solid choice for riders who wear prescription glasses, use Giro helmets, or want clearer peripheral vision without sacrificing comfort or ventilation.
