GlowCity light-up basketball Size 5 - 27.5" Rubber (No Pump), Red for kids girls boys, impact-activated LED, water-resistant

GlowCity Glow in The Dark Basketball is a size‑5 LED basketball that lights up on impact for safe, visible night play and reliable bounce for kids ages 6–10.

Take evening games to the next level with a compact, light‑activated basketball built for youth players. This red GlowCity ball combines a consistent size‑5 profile with an internal LED that flashes on impact, letting kids play pick‑up games, drills, and backyard contests after dusk without losing ball performance.

How does the light activate and how long will it glow?

The internal LED turns on automatically when the ball is bounced or struck, so it only lights during active play. Each impact triggers a visible glow that lasts about 40 seconds per activation, while the included batteries support roughly 30 hours of continuous use overall.

• Impact‑activated LED — no switches to fumble with
• Approx. 40 seconds of light per activation for clear visibility
• Supplied with six bonus batteries to extend first use

Will this ball feel like a normal basketball for kids?

Yes — the GlowCity light‑up ball is a true size‑5 youth basketball designed for predictable bounce and spin. Its balance and responsiveness are engineered so younger players can dribble, pass, and shoot without the wobble common in novelty balls.

• Official size‑5 dimensions suitable for ages 6–10
• Consistent bounce and grip for learning fundamentals
• Durable outer surface built for rough outdoor play

Can it be used outdoors and in wet conditions?

The ball is water‑resistant, so it stands up to rainy courts, light splashes, and damp playground surfaces. It is not designed for full immersion or pool use, so avoid submerging the light unit to protect the electronics.

• Water‑resistant design for rainy street and court play
• Not suitable for pool or full underwater use
• Stable performance after short exposure to wet conditions
