GSI Outdoors Freestyle Soft Bocce Set — 8 Pack 2.5" Ripstop Nylon Balls, Floatable & Packable

This soft bocce set reimagines the traditional lawn game for travel-friendly, damage-free play. Each ball is made from ripstop nylon and filled with polypropylene pellets so the pieces are gentle on floors, float in water, and compress to fit in the included carry bag. The kit provides everything needed to start a round quickly: eight 2.5" soft bocce balls, a 1.75" jack (target) ball, concise instructions, and a compact storage pouch.

How does this bocce set hold up for indoor and outdoor play?

The Freestyle Soft Bocce construction is designed to be versatile. Ripstop nylon resists tears and abrasion, while pellet fill prevents hard impacts, so you can play on grass, sand, hard floors, or even in a pool without damaging surfaces.

• Ripstop nylon exterior for durability and light weight
• Polypropylene pellet fill for soft impact and flotation
• Safe for hardwood, tile, and carpeted rooms
• Performs well on lawns, campgrounds, and beach settings

Is this bocce set easy to transport and store for travel?

The kit is intentionally compact and light so it slips into luggage, a backpack, or an RV storage compartment. The soft balls stack and compress inside the included carry bag, making it an ideal game to bring to picnics, cabins, or outdoor festivals.

• Includes a small zip carry bag for single-handed packing
• Soft, stackable balls take far less space than hard bocce
• Lightweight materials keep overall kit weight low
• Quick setup and teardown—no tools required

What exactly comes in the GSI Outdoors Freestyle Soft Bocce kit?

You get a complete set so you can start playing immediately. The kit components are sized and balanced for casual play, with an emphasis on safety and portability rather than tournament regulation specifications.

• Eight soft bocce balls, each approximately 2.5 inches in diameter
• One 1.75-inch jack (target) ball
• Simple game instructions included in the pouch
• Durable carry bag sized for travel and storage

How does this set differ from traditional hard bocce?

Unlike standard solid bocce, this soft set uses fabric shells and pellet fill to reduce bounce and impact. That makes it safer around furniture, less likely to chip patios, and usable in places where hard balls would be inappropriate.

• Soft shell avoids scuffs and dents on surfaces
• Floating capability opens up water-play possibilities
• Gentler on children’s hands and indoor environments
• More portable than heavy, rigid bocce balls

Who is this for? The GSI Outdoors Freestyle Soft Bocce Set suits families, campers, and casual players who want a flexible, low-impact bocce experience. It's ideal for people who travel with games, host mixed-age gatherings, or need an indoor-safe alternative to heavy lawn bowls. If you want a complete, easy-to-carry bocce kit that works across settings—backyard, campsite, or living room—this set delivers playful, no-fuss rounds for friends and family.
