HEAD Intelligence G.165 Racquetball Racquet - Head-Heavy Balance, Reinforced Fiber Power

The HEAD Intelligence G.165 is a pre-strung, heavy-balance racquetball racquet built to deliver powerful drives and solid control through HEAD’s reinforced fiber technology.

Designed for players who want an affordable yet performance-oriented option, the G.165 blends a stable heavy balance with engineered fiber reinforcement to optimize energy transfer on ball impact. It comes pre-strung so you can step onto the court the moment it arrives, and its construction favors forceful punchy shots without sacrificing predictable handling.

How does the G.165 produce more power without losing control?

The racquet’s reinforced fiber system stiffens the frame momentarily at impact, converting some vibration into added rebound. That dynamic response increases ball speed off the stringbed while maintaining a stable feel so shots stay on target.

• Heavy balance shifts weight toward the head for higher momentum on swings
• Reinforced composite fibers enhance stiffness at contact for stronger energy return
• Pre-strung stringbed tuned for a balance of power and control

What should I expect from the racquet’s handling and feel?

The G.165 offers a firm, responsive sensation that players describe as crisp at impact. Because the frame is head-heavy, it generates more plow-through on drives but requires a slightly more committed swing to maneuver quickly.

• Firm frame response reduces excess flex for cleaner shot feedback
• Head-heavy balance gives momentum for penetrating drives and serves
• Pre-strung setup provides consistent string tension and playability out of the box

Is this racquet durable and suitable for frequent play?

Built with resilience in mind, the G.165’s composite construction withstands regular court use while retaining structural integrity across repeated impacts. Routine maintenance—such as checking grommets and string condition—keeps it performing at its best.

• Composite frame with reinforced fibers resists deformation under load
• Quality pre-stringing reduces early break-in variability
• Replace strings and inspect grommets periodically for longest service life

What kind of player benefits most from this HEAD racquet?

This model favors players who prioritize power and value—competitors moving up from beginner level, club players seeking an upgrade, or anyone wanting a pre-strung option that emphasizes heavy-balance performance. Its combination of responsiveness and affordability makes it a practical choice for frequent play and match situations.

• Ideal for intermediate players who want stronger drives
• Good pick for recreational and club-level competitors
• Suitable for buyers seeking immediate use with pre-strung convenience

Who is this for: If you’re a player who likes a head-heavy racquet that delivers extra punch and crisp feedback without a premium price tag, the HEAD Intelligence G.165 is built to meet those needs. It’s a straightforward, performance-oriented racquet that arrives match-ready and holds up well under regular play.
